I’ll always miss Russ. I think the trade was the right move, but I loved watching him play and will always have a soft spot for the entire 2013 team.
I’ll always have a soft spot for Russ.
Having said that, Geno better.
The trade was definitely the right move at the time. Considering we got very high draft picks because Denver struggled with him.
Wild how Denver gave up an absolutely mind boggling amount of resources to get Russ and then just refused to use him properly
He throws a pretty deep ball, but we would be NO better with Russ.
crazy he already has more double digit comebacks as a steeler than geno has had as a hawk
Happy he’s gotten back to form and with a team that wants him. It’s plainly obvious he’s thriving under Coach Tomlin.
Fuck Russ
Geno better
Geno can do that too dude.
I’ll always love Russ; best QB I’ve ever watched on a weekly basis. However, Geno’s pretty darn good too. He’s ran some good offenses over the last 3 years. He’s been a perfect bridge QB, so I’m not wishing he kept Russ. Would’ve been cool if circumstances made it so he could be a career Seahawk, but that rarely happens in today’s game.
Not really. Don’t miss the drama. I already have that in real life.
Would our O-Line improve if Russ was our QB again? No. We have the worst o-line in the league at this point in the season.
Yeah, that was classic.
He can moonball. He can also demand a team build everything around his genius. I will always think 2013 was my favorite Seattle sports experience. I also love that we knocked Green Bay out and Aaron Rodgers has never had a better shot at a ring since.
Damn he still got it, don’t know what was happening in Denver that he was playing so poorly
I’ve been enjoying watching him play as a Steeler. He’s always had such a beautiful ball — especially his deep ball.
I miss Russ when we weren’t paying Russ top NFL money. It’ll be interesting to see if Steelers shell out $65M for him next year.
To be fair, if we had THAT defense, we’d be rolling too
His 40+ mil salary?
Lmao. I remember when this entire fandom kept talking about how much he was overrated after the trade, continued to dog on him when he was in Denver, boo’d him when he played against us in Seattle. Very funny seeing the switch-up right now 🥸

The Russ story arch needed this. He wanted to break out of the mold of what made him a success. He got what he wanted, fell from NFL grace, and re-emerged on a team that put him back in the formula that works for him.
I’m happy for him, but it wasn’t going to get better for him or the Seahawks if he stayed.
I too would be fine with sticking with Russ if we could pay him vet minimum while Denver had to pay the rest.
I agree with Brendan Perna’s new video that Russ wanted to be like Brady/Manning and command the offense, he went to Denver and had mixed success and now that he’s been humbled it seems like he understands his place in things. Wish he didn’t have to leave under the circumstances that he did and I feel PC/JS made the right call but I’ll be happy for his success but also hold him accountable for going against a system that tried to utilize him the way he should be (like he is now/early career)
Trade was the right move but it is totally valid to want to see this type of play back in Seattle.
This seems premature. He’s had some good games. He always had that. Wait until he throws two INT in a must win game.
So glad we got rid of Wilson and Pete, We’ve really turned a corner since
/s
:'(
Bad teams can’t be paying QBs . Russ needed to move on Geno is next.
Nah you all did this don’t bring that shit here
You miss him, behind his o line. Behind ours, you would not.
Russ was the best Seahawks QB in history. It’s weird how some people still can’t accept it.
Ah geno makes that throw at a quarter the price
Sad that washed Russell looks SIGNIFICANTLY better than Geno Shit
Stop. Geno is way better than Russ.
Nah , Geno is better. Our line is just terrible.
Stop pining after your ex. We are in a rebuild. Deal with it.
Our offensive line is terrible right now. Not even Patrick Mahomes would help us, let alone Russell Wilson.
He pretty much completed deep throws and RB dumps. He had ugly misses on screens and passes over the middle, per the usual. I absolutely do not miss this at all. Enjoy losing in the wildcard, Steelers fans!
GO RUSS GO!!!
Wilson to Locks style moonbow
Russ is so hot right now

People seem to forget we have THE WORST o-line in the league right now. Geno is genuinely at the bottom of our lists of worries. Having a terrible o-line, you should not be surprised that our QB feels pressure and has limited decision when the play has had little time to develop
😨
Is it me, or does he seem to be having more fun on the field then before?
the good old days
He connected on a fall away prayer in this case and he has George Pickens catching anything thrown in his general vicinity, regardless of how well covered he is. I don’t think he’d be anywhere near as good with the Seahawks.

Peak Russ right here
