You mean 2016 Cub Rob Zastryzny*
Edit to add: pretty crazy how the guy only has 54 appearances in 6 years
Why do we keep grabbing other teams sloppy seconds? There’s a reason they DFA’d them. Why not just pay heavy on legit talent?
So they kept Alzolay? Kinda weird.
The dumpster diving begins
Man, would love Almonte on an expensive minor league deal.

SUPERBOWL HERE WE COME
This inspired me to look back at the [2013 draft class](https://www.thebaseballcube.com/content/draft_class/2013~6/)
After Kris Bryant, it’s horrendous. Brutal work.
That would be a fun story if Zastryzny could come back build himself a bit of a Cubs history like Tyson Miller did last season.
I remember from a game in 2016 Vin Scully referring to him as “Eye Chart”
Doubling down on analytics is already paying off.

I’ll never forget Bethancourt’s 7 RBI game. He was a nice add for the short time we had him
Heavy Scrabble breathing resumes
Nooow that’s what I’m talking about big moves.
