Who’s to blame is the guy who’s injured who cant stay in shape.
Again, and again, and again.
Think any team would want him?
Any reason for why he fired Jasper Bibbs?
The whole team is injured lol. At this point I don’t even see a lot of the BI vs Zion debates. The team is just a hot mess
I don’t believe for a moment Zion did everything he could to play 82 Regular Season games during ANY offseason he’s had as a Pro. Were u with him This Summer????
He looks like he lost weight this Summer to avoid missing out on any contract money.
It’s year 6 of Excuses for Zion.
Jake don’t insult the Fans by saying he’s as frustrated as the Fanbase.
Start up the tank. Trade both Z and BI.
6'6 285 is probably not a sustainable weight to stay healthy … In Shaqs best conditioned years, he was around 285 .. but 7'1
It's time to trade Zion because his injury history has been a setback for over 5 years, and it's best to move on.
Relax guys. The "Revenge Tour" is just getting started. Time to bring in Tony Snell. A starting lineup w/ JRE and Tony Snell would be something to behold.
Man, I get it—hearing about Z going down again feels like a gut punch, almost like it’s lights out for the whole squad. But here’s what I’m thinking: even if Z were healthy, he couldn’t carry us to enough wins on his own without the core guys around him. If I were running things in New Orleans, I'd sit him until we’ve got the full roster back on deck. It's still early in the season; teams are gonna go through their highs and lows, and it’s way too soon to make any calls. That injury, though, something feels off—it’s like it was almost… scripted.
You can't say with certainty that he did all the things he needed to do over the summer because although he lost a little weight, he still came in looking heavy also can you say he stretching staying hydrated eating properly sleeping properly? No you can't ! This is his third hamstring injury it might be time to move on!
The question at this point is what kind of training is he doing? Obviously he should be putting a huge focus on flexibility and pliability. I have to think he needs to be working on be lighter. I'm not calling him fat. I'm saying he needs to lose mass, even if it's muscle mass, to make it in the NBA longterm. He needs to lean down and just be lighter so the forces on his joints and ligaments is proportionally less. I hope the Pelicans have an in-depth knowledge of his training and is investing whatever it takes to optimize his regime for injury avoidance. Anything less than total commitment to hyper-focused training to address these issues–the best trainers in the country, specialists–is management malpractice.
Trade em
Fire the medical staff. I think this team needs to look at a different direction.
jake its very frustrating with all these injuries. years and years of injuries going back to at least boogie
I am so sick of the excuses man, I have been a massive Zion fan since his junior year at Spartanburg. That dudes been my wallpaper until I got engaged. I’ve watched countless videos of Zion. Enough is enough. He got paid hundreds of millions of dollars. You lose the motivation. The fact this man is not 250-260 at most pounds is just pure laziness going into 2025. No more damn excuses. He does not want it bad enough. Marvin hagler said it best, it’s tough to get out of bed and put the work in when you’re waking up in silk pajamas. I have yet to see my favorite player play that I’ve been such a fan of for almost a decade because he doesn’t want it bad enough. NBA giving these cats too much damn money before they even establish themselves in the nba.
