[Hughes] “They were not prepared to play,” Jeff Ulbrich says. He shoulders all of that. Says he didn’t get them ready to play.

  1. Hoping it demoralizes the team so bad Rodgers retires after this year. Rebuild is going to be nearly impossible if he’s still here

  2. Imagine watching another Jets game this season.

Unprepared and low energy is 2 things a team shouldn’t be saying in week 10 of a season.

  3. They spend more time preparing their goofy gameday outfits than they do preparing for the actual game

  4. lol we have some how looked even worse coming out of extended breaks between games than we did when we had short breaks between games

  5. Can’t believe I planned an entire vacation from Canada to Arizona 6 months ago for that abortion of a football game

  6. Soooooo. He had all week to prepare the team, but he didn’t prepare the team, and then he took all the responsibility for not preparing the team. Well I guess everything is OK. They will be better next week.

  7. It’s crazy I was never a huge saleh supporter and at the time he was fired it was difficult to make an argument as to why he should be retained other than the timing but holy shit ulbrich makes saleh look like prime Bill Belichek. Other than the Texans game this defense has been bottom barrel since ulbrich became head coach. Fuck woody Johnson.

  8. WTF is he doing then? There’s only 32 of these positions in this league. Do the f’n job.

  9. Starting to think Ubrich may not be the savior. Not sure what it is exactly…oh yeah, it’s all the losing.

  10. I am sooo friggin sick of this trend of players and coaches with their “accountability” and virtus signaling, falling on the sword after every loss! Do Iwant them to be like Zach was and act like they are not part of the problem? Hell no! But enough with your BS “accountablity”- how about playing and coaching better??
It all rings so hollow to me.

  11. Everyone seems to be accountable and accepting the blame except the one person that actually needs to in Woody Johnson

  12. It’s the same story after every bye/mini-bye with this Regime. The only difference is that Ulbrich takes responsibility for it.

We saw this last year after the eagles game with that horror show against the Giants and earlier this year after the Pats win.

  13. People actually thought this completely unlikable team was going to go on some magical run to the playoffs. Houston was extremely injured on a short week. This game went exactly how I thought it would because we have seen this movie before. We know how it ends. Worst part about that Houston win was stupid woody being duped into thinking they are good and not trading everyone they could. On the bright side at least they didn’t go on some weird run and someone play their way into an Ulbrich extension. That can officially be put to bed.

  14. Sam Darnold is playing on a 1 year deal. I’ll take 4 great games followed by a couple of 4 ints performances. This is what it’s come to

  15. Send Jeffrey home with his belongings.

At this point, fuck it, hire Rex again. Absolutely nothing to lose – and absolutely nothing to gain.

  16. I get trying to take accountability and all, but these guys are professionals. It’s not up to one dude to get you ready to play a game that you’ve literally been playing your entire life.

  17. I love when coaches say this shit. What the fuck were you guys doing all god damn week?

Just dead words for a dead franchise.

  18. Fold the franchise, take its remains, and throw into the fires of Mt.Doom. Theres no fixing this doormat of a franchise at this point. How can you look at this roster and be 3-7?! At worst we should be .500. Jets gonna Jet.

  19. But professional athletes should know how to prepare to play on their own. Eat hydrate sleep study plays

  20. Fingers crossed for 7 consecutive losses. Never thought I would say it but going 3-14 may cause Penis Phallus fourth of his name to sell out of frustration and embarrassment for owning this travesty of a franchise and running it into the ground.

  21. Joe Douglas must feel like a prisoner on death row with only a month or so left before execution date..

  22. Has someone counted how many times we’ve heard this? Not just from Ulbrich but Saleh too. I just don’t get it.

  23. I just can’t take Aaron Rodgers missing a pass and walking with his down or a three and out and Rodgers looking like he’s ready to cry on the sideline. He lost the spark, the drive, the motivation. You look at all these young quarterbacks firing the team up before the next drive and Rodgers sits there head down “Looking at what someone did wrong”

  24. So… Fired the coach to get a spark. Interim has been a disaster. At what point is Ulbricht let go?
