  1. Knights pull another sneaky fast one according to reddit experts by strategically removing their (at the time) leading point scorer and two way god, who was on track for a record year at that, to magically create cap space to replace him with a worse player

  2. Last year, I was listening to a couple of commentators on Sirius XM NHL (can’t recall exactly who, but Anthony Stewart & Scott Maclaughlin sound about right) assert solemnly that a ruptured spleen was serious business and no organization would exaggerate or otherwise exploit this injury to their advantage.

Lo and behold, Vegas adds personnel with the cap space saved when Stone went on LTIR and then Stone returns from injury, miraculously for the 3rd season in a row, to make an appearance in the first round.

Lots of teams abuse LTIR, but don’t expect me to believe anything about Stone and injury ever again – whether or not this specific news leads to LTIR.

  3. Poor Mark, he seems to have bad luck.

I hope this injury doesn’t eventually result in his 4th(?) season of being on LTIR until April.

  4. People are so paranoid with Vegas and LTIR.

Just accept the fact that this is an legit injury and the Knights won’t be playing and LTIR games because Gary already waived Lehner’s cap hit.
