Joe Mixon sick of Texans ‘playing to not lose’ in big moments after SNF collapse

  1. I mean he’s right. They thought they could run the the time out with 25 minutes left to go lol

  2. Well, join a rather large crowd ’round these parts, Sir Mixon. We all tired of this shit too.

    Bobby’s gotta go.

  3. I don’t know why we didn’t go for it on that 4th down we missed. i know fairbairn is good, but come on, 58 yards.

  4. This team needs the mentality to go for the kill.

This isn’t the Kansas city chiefs where we can sustain 9-10 minute drives running the ball and getting flags to help us out.

If we are up 20, good, let’s go up 30.

The change in mentality between the first half and second half was horrendous.

  5. Amen to you, Joe – I’m glad that someone who’s actually involved with the team has the guts to speak out.

  6. Luckily our division is so trash that we still have time to get things right before the playoffs

  7. At one point it was 1 yards per carry, it was sickening to see Joe Nixon run into a wall for no gains and 1 yarders 🤢

  8. Second post to bring up a point:

    [The Comeback.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Comeback_(American_football))

I watched that live. I was just sick about it. Stupid ass Prevent defense… stupid ass ‘let’s not run it up…’

No. Nosirs and madams. There can NEVER be enough points. Ever. Never, ever, EVER do you let up.

If they can’t stop you, too damn bad, they DESERVE the 87 to 3 beating, or whatever it is. Because otherwise… that happens.

Nope. I want the effect of snot bubbles happening to the other team. Pedal to the metal. Full steam ahead and damn the torpedos, that other team is GOING DOWN. Whatever you been doin’ the first half, DO NOT STOP if it’s working, dammit.

Ok. I’m done. Thanks for comin’ to my Tex Talk. :p

  9. This is exactly what I said at half time, we are gonna take our foot off unsee has be conservative and lose. We do it every week and it’s up to Demeco to keep the tempo up.
