  1. Can we please just have a mutiny in the locker room and let players turn on Chauncey, like when they did to Nate McMillan, but I fear even that wonā€™t get Chauncey fired. As the great Awful Coaching has said, ā€œonly in the NBA can you be terrible at your job for 4 years straight and still not get fired.ā€

  2. Why was this bad loss any different? Who was Chauncey getting mad at?
If the bench cut the 30 point blowout down to 18, would Billups use his "Angry Coach" act during the presser ??

  3. I donā€™t think many people have realized that deniā€™s struggles might have to do with the fact that his home country is in a literally war. Thatā€™s gotta take a toll on you.

  4. See, now THATS a depressing game objectively ha. And there it is, once again, the coach is it. He is problem numero uno out of anything else regarding everything in this franchise right now. Billups, we can't wait till ur gone.

  5. This is funny- you said, is it good for scoot to be what Simon and the vets are doing, showing no effort on d etcetc. Well, he is seeing the effort the OTHER teams point guards and vets and players are doing, so…lol at least he sees that eh!

  6. Torey Jones, you have rightly expressed concerns about Avdija's benching and how AS's behavior affects Scoot.

First and foremost, Deni appears as if he is playing with PTSD given that he went through a very similar situation as a young player with the Wizards, with a designated franchise player who did not want to be there anymore, Bradly Beal, and a bunch of stat-padding vets who did not give him the time of day, let alone a pass, assistance on defensive assignments, or make any attempt to facilitate the ball as part of any team structure. Sounds Familiar?

Apparently, such an environment is terrible for the growth of any young player. At this point, I don't think it's such a bad idea to bench Deni, if only to give him a chance to cool down and begin to build a repertoire with Scoot and Clingan while playing minutes together in the second unit until the front office has a chance to get rid of the fab three, DA, AS, and JG, by the trade deadline, hopefully with minimal extra baggage from other teams in exchange.

  7. ā€œYouā€™ve got young guys, middle aged guys, and older vetsā€ this mf will literally say anything lol thatā€™s even worse than saying every loss is just because the ball wonā€™t go in. The media is filled with shills

  8. Prefacing this by saying I think heā€™s a bad coachā€¦..
I donā€™t think itā€™s fair to be critical of Chauncey for not being specific. On camera in front of the media isnā€™t the place to be talking about specifics of how he preps for games or putting players on blast. I think it really is as simple as everyone performed poorly, from him not prepping them well enough, to them not giving any effort, to the GM giving him players who canā€™t make a shotā€¦ and they just all need to be better

  9. The fact that Cronin can't see these things, and retains Chauncy, doesn't bode well for Cronin either.

At this point, I just want Jody Allen to sell the team, hopefully to someone with a lot of money that is passionate about the team, like Phil Knight.

  10. my thing with scoot is that every player under chauncey billups looks so incompetent and some of these guys have to be nba players so itā€™s probably not inherently a scoot thing and with better coaching and a more complimentary situation he would probably be just fine

  11. when chauncey was talking about preparing his players for the game he only mentioned what other teams do but never discussed what his own philosophy and this teams identity is. he said it goes well sometimes and sometimes it doesnā€™t. a good coach has a plan that is less random and less up to chance. plays that often get open shots, defense that consistently makes it harder to score for the other team, hell donā€™t even bother watching film to see how you couldā€™ve been better. just dig your head in the sand and pretend itā€™s all out of your hands

  12. Still don't get people who turned their nose up at trading Grant for a first and Rui. If that was ever on the table they should have done it.

Those same people are gonna go, "well what else can Cronin do he has no value?" if we have to move him for less in the future.

  13. Didnā€™t the blazers lose to Memphis by 80 last year?

So dropping a game to them by 40 isnā€™t a big deal itā€™s a massive improvement.

Jokes aside, we knew this years mission was tanking. Tanking hard for a high draft pick.

  14. 33:10 my views on Ant have not changed this season, last year we all knew that scoot and Sharpe need to be the point guard shooting guard going forward and get starters minutes is front office is so inept wow
