We should collectively start calling Ahmad Gardner “Ahmad” instead “Sauce”. He can’t cover shit and doesn’t deserve a nickname

  1. He is as good as they said he was he just hasn’t applied himself. Bought into his own hype and would rather be Kai Cenat or iShowSpeed than a hall of fame cornerback. It is geuinely pathetic.

  2. This is my favorite part of the jets crash cycle where these “super stars” lose the fan base and they can’t handle it 😂😂😂 Us Jets fans don’t let you hang around because of something you used to be. Aaron is starting to find that out too. Sell the team chant was just the start wait for the Tyrod Taylor chants

  3. Been preaching this, he would actually get upset if people stopped calling him by the nickname. Cares more about his persona/brand than the game itself feels like lately.

  4. I never understand fans who want to bring down their players. He’s a two time all pro and a key component of this team. He’s struggling. Let’s lift him up not put him down.

  5. He is still a great cover corner. He’s just lacking the ball hawking and tackling skills to put him in the game-changing echelon of CBs in this league.

  6. Defensive rookie of the year

    2x All Pro

First season where he’s struggling mainly due to tackling and you turn on him.

This is not the guy to come after for the failures of the team and organization. This post is cringe AF.

  7. The cost of having losers like Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh in charge of an org for this long is having talent stop giving a fuck.

  8. Lol the fans are going after Sauce? Dudes are scared to death to address the problem that’s been staring them right in the face all season.

  9. The ~~Sauce~~ Ahmad fall from grace needs to be studied. All pro to mediocre at best…at BEST.

  10. Remember when he hurt his soldier and missed a few series. Hasn’t been the same player since, particularly tackling. He had no problems tackling last year. I doubt he forgot how. Doesn’t deserve this nonsense of a post.

  11. He stinks. Can’t tackle and if he can’t hold he is BBQ chicken. I am just thankful that we got to see this early because he was very close to getting 30 m per year. Guy is absolute shit. He needs to stop streaming and tweeting and watch some film.

  12. Eh no I’m good, i’d much rather direct my anger towards Woody. Destabilized the locker room with a midseason firing, kept around and protected guys like Hackett because he’s afraid to piss off Aaron, brought in outsiders mid-season into a locker room with a leadership vacuum, and most recently shipped off a publicly scrutinized receiver AFTER A WIN to a fellow wild card contender.

Our owner thinks he’s playing Madden and has displayed incompetency at every turn. We’re averaging ~1 reactionary roster per week recently, and firing the HC signaled to every member of the defense that they could be gone just as quickly, even if it’s completely irrational.

No one should be even remotely surprised that the defense has called it quits, and corny ass posts like this from the fanbase are incredibly annoying. Gardner is a 2x all-pro, after 2 years in the league, that just watched the defensive HC that drafted him get shitcanned 5 games into the season.

And rather than discuss the systemic issues affecting his (and everyone else on the team’s) performance this year, it’s somehow productive to do this corny shit, as if we’re totally pulling one over on him by calling him by a different name. This does nothing but make us look like dorks and further alienate a guy that, if drafted by the Steelers or any other competent org, would be well on his way to a HOF career.

But hey, i’m sure “collectively calling him Ahmad” will be super gratifying for everyone

  13. Just curious because last I heard as a giants fan sauce Gardner was the truth at cb. Is he really that bad now or are most fans just overreacting?

  14. No leaders on this team at all. Should be guiding these kids to greatness.

We haven’t developed anyone in forever.
