The Lost Seasons: 2004-05 NHL Season – Edmonton Oilers @ Ottawa Senators 11-11-2004

Gameday Records
Edmonton: 5W 6L 0T 0 otl – 10 points
Ottawa: 7W 2L 1T 1 otl – 15 points

The next entry in The Lost Seasons series focuses on the one and only time an entire season was lost because of a labor stoppage (in this case, an owner lockout) – the 2004-05 NHL season

Using the ratings and rosters from ESPN NHL2K5 on the PlayStation 2, we are going to replay the full season (using the rules that existed at the end of the previous season – two line passes still illegal and no shootouts in OT). We’ll focus on 2-4 games a week until we get closer to the end of the regular season. The playoffs will be played out in full.
