They'll keep trotting out Jones until he gets hurt and locks in that injury clause so that we get stuck with him yet again next year because of the cap hit his injury clause and dead cap hit would do to the cap. Best thing that happened is that we lost, but how many of you at this point have ANY faith this team will pick Jones's replacement, or if they do, they'll pick the best QB? Honest opinion, we're gonna be 3-5 years away from seeing a watchable team.

10. BD, go back and look at Jones's stats during the 2 years of Judge, extend Jones's stats for full seasons. Jones's stats would have looked, more or less, about the same as 22, mediocre at best. He hasn't regressed, the issues he has now, ALWAYS were there, teams adjusted to Jones after 22, no deep threat, only real threat is run, red stripes almost every throw. And people are acting like OMG what happened to him!! Come on man!

Law, Justin Herbert, J Hurts–super sad. The NY Giants are just a great QB away from becoming a scary football team. Good coach, Good GM (Replaced SB26's numbers with a rookie) Just keep that horrible QB in and let Cam Ward or Sanders cook.

32. The most frustrating thing with DJ is that he'll have a 90 yard drive and look good. Then he'll throw a stupid INT. He is just not a good QB. The overthrows, underthrows, not seeing wide open receivers, all is not what a franchise QB does. You are right, he was never any good. 2022 was a lucky year. We found ways to win a lot of 1 score, close games. A play here or there was the difference. There is no way with our improved team, (not great, just improved) we should be 2-8.

39. I’ll never stop saying this; Daniel Jones got paid for an average season and career games vs the Vikings. Mind you, that Minnesota defense was historically bad. EVERY QB that played them had career games. Jones sucks, he’s awful, a complete waste of a 1st rd pick and Gettleman should’ve been imprisoned for that.

    As a LIFELONG COWBOYS FAN – who's subscribed to your channel – I don't have any room to be "BAD MOUTHING" the Giants – or any other team.

    But I've been seeing multiple 2025 NFL MOCK DRAFTS (not that they count for much of anything), since the 2024 NFL SEASON started, that have multiple mock drafts having the Giants drafting all kinds of positions – except QB.
    I'm like, there's ABSOLUTELY NO WAY the Giants can go another season "RIDING WITH" Jones.

    NO WAY.

    SIDE NOTE:

    I recently came across some old Giants footage from the '90's that had Dave Brown at QB, and thinking about Jones, I was thinking, maybe the Giants need to stop drafting QB's from Duke.

46. Not sure if this was brought up yet but there was a QB who had the same injury clause and sued when benched by the team. They could be playing Jones so he has no case that he shouldn't have been benched or was benched just so he wouldn't get injured and paid. Now they can prove in court he was benched after given every opportunity to succeed.
