Tankathon week 11 preview

Raiders had the bye and were able to move up to #5 in the draft order. Only 2 teams in the top 4 have an easier SOS as of right now.

Pats, Saints, Dolphins, and Panthers with big wins. I'm not sure if the Giants, Titans, or Browns will win again. I also think the Cowboys and Jets could potentially lose out. They look absolutely awful.

Week 11 will see:

  • Raiders (2-7) at Dolphins (3-6). This is one game that we have an outside chance of winning but we also tend to play poorly in early East Coast games.
  • Jags (2-8) at Lions (8-1). It would be a miracle if the Jags win this one.
  • Vikings (7-2) at Titans (2-7). Vikings looked terrible last week but I don't see the Titans winning this one.
  • Rams (4-5) at Pats (3-7). This one is a toss-up for me. Pats are playing better in recent weeks but that was against awful competition.
  • Browns (2-7) at Saints (3-7). Hopefully, the Browns pull this off but that's a tough proposition on the road.
  • Colts (4-6) at Jets (3-7). The Jets look out of sorts. Rodgers looks no better than Minshew right now.
  • Texans (6-4) at Cowboys (3-6). Cowboys are reeling (Dak out for the year). I'd be surprised if they were competitive in this one.

  1. Our main competition for QBs in the draft are gonna be the Giants, Titans, Saints, and Jets. I think the Jets and Saints get a few more W’s. The Giants are gonna lose out. We need the titans to win a couple.

  2. I would be shocked if we beat the Dolphins. Their 3-6 record largely reflects injuries to Tua and other key players that are healthy now.

  3. Key games later this season:

Titans and Jags play each other twice
    Jets play at the Jags
    Giants play at the Saints
    Pats play at Dolphins

  4. >**Browns** (2-7) at **Saints** (3-7). Hopefully, the Browns pull this off but that’s a tough proposition on the road.

On paper, this should be a competitive matchup, maybe even advantage Cleveland considering that Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed are out for the Saints. But things are trending down again for the Browns in the last week. LT Jedrick Wills was benched apparently for “business decisions” (not playing through injury). And on the DL, Za’Darius Smith was just traded to Detroit. The Jamies Winston honeymoon ended after one week, and the return of Nick Chubb hasn’t paid any dividends yet.

  5. If the Saints get a QB in the draft and we don’t…who is going to be the one that gets tasked with calling Carr LOL

  6. we are so damaged as a fan base lol….here we are optimistic about losing out the rest of the season in November…its beautiful
