It is, but more than anything, I think they look competent. Like the results are better, sure, but I think the eye test matches it.
I’m somewhat skeptical of Sochan’s hyper cutty style of offense, but so far, he’s made it work for him. Branham looks MUCH better than last year. Castle is a bit more hit and miss than others here seem to believe (he’s a rookie in his first 10 games, the fact he’s hit at all is encouraging) but there’s enough good there to be intrigued. Collins’ jumper is falling, and while that’s results more than process, it’s hard to completely ignore results. Pretty much everybody looks a little better than last year.
I was wondering this last night! Thanks for sharing.
Do not forget just how stacked the west is. At 5-6, Spurs would be a 4/5 seed in the east. Another win would put them at 3.
Currently 12 in west.
Truth. I love that Wemby is sold in the “brick by brick” approach to getting better as a team. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. We haven’t even seen Wemby, Sochan, Vassel on the floor together yet. We got some solid pieces and they’re learning how to play with each other. We may be headed for the beautiful game part II.
Sheeeesh I had already forgot how rough that stretch was last year
