  1. Kevin Love sounds like a true friend. We can all only be so lucky.

After yelling to my friends for the last year I need help to get out of the hole I’ve felt in, I’d have love for a Kevin Love type response from someone.

Instead I got told it’s not their responsibility and I need a girlfriend.

  2. I watched Kyle Singler vs Kevin Love a couple times when they played each other in high school.  Both fucking amazing high school players.  Hope Kyle gets some help with whatever is happening here.

  3. That’s the scariest thing about mental health especially with men. Things going fine one moment and then boom schizophrenic or other shit. I hope he gets help

  4. He should reach out to Duke University. I’m sure they could help in some ways especially cause he was there a full 4 years. Hope he gets the help he needs!

  5. Hope he gets the help he needs and good on Kev for making it known it’s welcomed to reach out to him, sad to see unfold. That back crack in the beginning sounded sublime tho

  6. Mental stuff is scary because of stuff like that. It’s hard to control what your mind does and the way we are build, anything created by it can become a reality to you, even without any external reasoning, while on the outside, the majority of people wouldn’t even notice. Hope he’ll get well. It looks really concerning for a young individual like him. He really needs support right now.

  7. Had the pleasure of working with Kyle when he was in OKC. He is an all around stand up individual and treats everyone with the utmost respect. Never met an NBA player as egoless as him. Hoping he gets the help he needs.

  8. If he’s still hanging in Medford … well, this sounds like substance abuse to me but hoping he gets help regardless.

  9. In-case people are at work:

*Alright. So I need an announcement.*

*Because I feel like my voice is getting silenced.*

*And every day shit is being thrown my way, and my community fucked.*

*I have been mistreated and abused, neglected, made into a mental example, and I fear for my life, everyday.*

*And people in my community make me look out like as if I’m going to be someone who’s going to be a problem. And they make things difficult people when I’m only trying to be helpful., and I fell like I have a certain way about myself and strength, and purpose that does not give value or get treated properly.*

  10. I don’t mean this in a demeaning way, but he’s speaking in the same manner and cadence as the schizophrenics you see out on the street

  11. His body/ hand movements in the beginning lead me to be alcohol or substance abuse in addition to mental health/ depression of some sort. The darkness of the video and the constant touching of the body just seem off. Hope the guy gets the help he needs. This is sad.

  12. People need a purpose. Doesn’t matter the money you have, if that purpose suddenly disappears before you even hit 30, it’s going to be difficult. From my experience, alcohol, and drugs tend to help with that extra free time.

Hoping he finds the help he needs.

  13. Awh man Kyle went to my rival high school and he was nothing but the kindest humble dude that just loved to ball. Really hope he gets help because he was pillar in my hometown.

  14. Huge Duke (and Kyle Singler) fan here and can tell you guys that the Duke community is just as concerned by this. It made the rounds quickly and people at high levels are trying to get in touch with Kyle to get him help.

Wishing him the absolute best. Kyle has always been a unique, quiet, artistic guy – a great player but also someone interested in so much outside of ball. I hope he gets the help he needs.

  15. When I was in middle school the two biggest basketball players in the state were Kevin Love, and Kyle Singler.

Hope Kyle gets the help he needs. Oregonians looking out for each other 😭

  16. Oregonian prep star trying to help another Oregonian prep star. Love to see it. I hope Kyle gets the help he needs.

  17. Sounds a lot like psychosis and the associated delusions. I hope his family/friends are able to help somehow.
