All our players have been up and down, but the great thing is we are 7-4. This team almost only has up to go from here, and imo this is a great start to be building off. We are far from our final form but we are still winning and growing.

Shooting is still a major concern with this team. We will not go anywhere if the jumpers so start falling, especially from the perimeter. As much as i love transition offense and backdoor cuts, those plays only get you so far. Someone is going to have to step up and be consistent EVERY game for us to stand a chance in the west. Whether that is Sengun, Jalen, Amen, Tari. I dont really care, but we need a consistent 25+ EFFICIENT point scorer. I think our bench is better than 95% of the benches in the league, but our starters dont have near the consistency yet to take us deep into the playoffs.
Jalen Green is not good. The advanced stats show the contract was not deserved.
Sengun is by far the best player on the team and continues to improve each year
I think at this point we have to finally accept that Jalen is who he is, which is an extremely streaky shooter who can get hot some nights and put up 30-40 points, but then will follow it up with multiple games where he has just as many (if not more) fg attempts as points.
His handle is still too loose. He doesn’t get to the line enough, and still settles for too many bad shots. His efficiency really hasn’t improved much since he’s come into the league.
I realize he’s still crazy young, but when you see a lot of the same issues still present that were there from the beginning, I don’t think it’s smart to expect him to all of a sudden breakout and become a much better player.
After his good start to the season, he’s fallen right back into the bad habits from previous years. He can still be a decent piece that helps us win, but he’s not a guy you can build a team around and expect to compete for championships.
I think it is clear Sengun was recovering from the injury, maybe mentally then physically. He started being more physical and started to dunk which he didnt before. In the last few games he is the old Sengun with better defense and rebounding.
Dillon, well you are fine, dont change
I want Tari and Amen to keep doing what they doing. Amen should shoot more 3s. Dont care if he miss. Nobody else can hit them anyway. And I like to see Tari improving his handles and playmaking.
Jalen should learn when to stop shooting. I wouldn’t call him scoring 10pts a bad game if he only shoot 7-8 shots. But 15 in 15 kinda shots makes it bad. Same for FVV
Reed, take the 3s
Adams, be healthier
Jabari. Just get better
I haven’t been seeing many Jalen’s appreciation posts now that he’s back to his classic 40% FG, must be a coincidence
I totally agree, but we also have to be realistic and take into account the opponents we’ve faced so far. If only our offense would get going we’d be only with 1, max 2 Ls. Kinda the same situation as the Texans in a strange way. Only game I can say we had no shot on was against OKC. Every other was winnable.
With how bad our shooting is, to be 7-4 is still crazy. Imagine how good we’d be if we were even an average shooting team, or even better…
