16. You can't blame the coaches for missed shots but you can definitely blame them for offensive/defensive schemes, adjustments, player rotations, etc. Let's be honest, kings are horrible at the perimeter defense.

18. We need more length, paint presence, and rebounds. Shooting and making 3s is a staple of our offense, but the ability to have consistent scoring near the rim only helps with our spacing and scoring BOTH. I have nothing against shooting more 2s than usual, but I think the Kings and the front office have gotten used to having a dominant rebounder and paint scorer in Domantas Sabonis that we've forgotten what really makes teams win: good pace and space through passing, getting good shots both in the perimeter and inside, and most importantly winning the rebound game!

19. This team is NOT even a play-in team. Sorry, team does better running and shoot. Half court not cutting,passing and now confidence so low players pass rather than shooting. Very very disappointed & disturbing.

How can you not blame the coaching staff when it’s a team wide slump. 😂 hey let’s credit the coaching staff for improving our defense but if the offense falls, particularly the 3s, it’s not the coaching staff anymore. It’s just the players. Both are responsible but if it’s a team wide, it’s probably the coaching staff. How are you going to blame the roster when you just listed how good of a 3pt shooting this is 😂

21. Who cares about the unwritten rule. I h8 those things when players get all butthurt when the winning team still tries to shoot in the last seconds of the game. If there is still time on the clocks, players should still try to shoot. I applaud players that do that even if the team is a head by a wide margin. If you don’t want the winning team to show you up then maybe do your business to not lose.

29. It is partially a coaching issue . I mean the guy refuses to start his best 2 guard on the team and wants to keep comparing it to the spurs. It’s annoying! Yes Demar has had some amazing performances, but the stagnant offense is going to catch up to them I promise. The flow of the offense is so terrible at times. I don’t give a shit who disagrees with this, it’s facts!!!!

30. I don't care if it was the second night of a back to back on the road after an emotional OT win, there is no way the Kings should loose by 20 to a skid mark of a team like the Spurs. If you can't defend the three point line you are not going anywhere near a top six spot. Without Monk there's no energy coming off the bench, they better fix it quick or we might be outside of the play in

31. It seems the Kings are leaving players wide open for threes because they are helping to much in the paint. QUIT leaving your man. Easier said that done but come on Kings

32. I see it all the time with the Kings. Someone will successfully fight through a screen and the help defence over-commits on an unnecessary switch and leaves their man wide f'in' open. Happens 👏🏽ALL👏🏽 THE 👏🏽TIME 🤦🏽‍♂️

    I refuse to do that but is it really worth it being a fan of a team that's apparently gonna be MID or TRASH for what, the last 20 years and who knows how much longer? ARE WE EVER JUST GOING TO BE GOOD.

34. Last year Keegan’s shooting suffered getting used to giving extra energy on D. This year I’m starting to be at a loss. Is the trade off focusing on rebounds? When does Keegan’s shooting become a Kings priority? They sure need it.

35. You asked why we are saying it's a coaching issue when it's the players missi5shots? Coaching brown is saying if you don't shoot I'm pulling you. So the players on other teams when they aren't feeling the shit they drive. Kings can't they gotta jack them when they aren't feeling it. They r handcuffed

    What really hurts is right now is they are ALL struggling. As you pointed out most everyone on the squad is shooting more than 10% lower than their career average. I’d love for Keegan & Huerter to find their 3 point shot again, let Fox and monk dribble drive downhill, let Sabonis cook in the paint, and demar light up from mid range. With all that including the DHO and some hard hustling defense we can be 4 or 5 in the west. And formidable opponent fir anyone in the league

39. It wasn’t just a 2nd night b2b… it was 3rd game in 4th night, in 3 states. Yes they were fatigued.. but shooting has been awful all season

40. Historical Kangz play pre 1998-2006 . No three's,no Ft ,no rebounding, bad third quarters…get blown out by 15+. Oh yes, and what everyone knows the holes are already. No bench talent or thin bench. No back up PG, no true center or backup pf. Keegan is a SF, sabonis is really a PF.

44. It’s a coaching issue and also players as well. Communication is key to playing defense and the Kings play too much traps and double teams way too much. The players need to be able to trust and switch and also eye what’s going on during their opponents play. They also swarm the paint to often they really need to stay on their man and adjust accordingly. Why did we get here? The Front Office is to blame when we had that crew from that playoff run they played way much better and shot more efficient but what do you know they pulled the plug because they wanna go cheap contention and dont wanna dip into the luxury tax. These guys are running out of time both stars are nearing 30 as well and this window is closing.

48. @mattgeorgesac: re: coaching . I do think the perimeter defense is. Maybe worse as the defensive acheme has changes some. Dropping to the middle to get deflections (which seems to be working) but it leaves guys a couple steps late to the perimeter shooter. And the theory it will decrease the ball getting to the perimeter isn't materializing. Thats a coaching decision and needs to be fixed.
