Just a little fun fact, I’m 2-0 when watching Devils games at concerts. Yeah I’m that guy but it’s worth it.
Its because we all used our manners in pre-game thread.

That’s the 8th or 9th game so far where we’ve allowed 1 goal or less…..we are finally seeing what this team can do when goaltending helps keep us the game versus taking us out of it
A win like this feels like that 1-0 win we had against the avs in 22-23 which really sparked the belief that we were a good team to be feared to play against that year
Im sad that I can’t see the crew postgame that one, just going to watch replays for a while.
What a game and what a win, Dillon’s fight was the turning point

Dillon won us that game, despite the bad penalty in the first. His fight with Gadjovic completely turned the momentum in our favor – we were playing so timid prior to that! So happy with his signing!

For a while it seemed like the Devils were hanging on for dear life, but they looked like a new team after Dillon’s scrap.
Also nice having Wischusen and Ferraro as the national crew. Always had good things to say about the team. Also liked that little dig at Bob when comparing the Winnipeg Jets and New York Jets.
Props to the Devils to target someone like Cotter, they saw something more than a plug in him and it’s paying off.
Also another night where the rangers lose and the other team put five past Igor 😻
Anyone know if ESPN will post that Dillon post-game interview later? My fam put the CGY-VAN game on and missed it but I need them to see it. He was so funny!

Well. As soon as I saw the clip of DJ Paul Cotter before the game I had a good feeling.
Markstrom channeled Satan’s Wallpaper, just as I predicted. They withstood the Panthers during the 2nd period and played their game from 2-1 on out to get the W! People were killing Dillon for the penalty (and rightfully so) but then he gets into that fight and everything seems to shift. These are things that didn’t happen in the past. I’m glad Nico got that beautiful assist to break his pointless streak and the recognition he deserves from ESPN. What a win for this team!
I’ll take a questionable 1-0 loss to a team like the sharks if we bounce back and take a decisive win against a team like the panthers . This should be a game we build off of

Panthers’ thread they be talking about how soft and slow the Panthers were tonight? Really? Jeez I thought they were all over us?
Plus a lot of complaints about the officiating which I guess they have some legitimate gripes. A double minor in the third there on the high stick that hit Barlow would have been butt clenching.
Good game all around outside of that early 2nd period. Markstrom played a great game, they came close a few times(not nearly as many as the commentating would make you think), but he played great in net. Team really found their fire after that fight and took it to the Panthers.
Really like how goals 2 and 3 were pure skill goals. Just beating the goalie clean
21 shot blocks?!?!? It’s a good thing I’m already sitting on the toilet or there would be some cleaning to do. That is a hell of a stat and something that needs to continue if they want to keep having 0 and 1 goal against games.
Happy for Meier to get the redemption after the own goal Sunday, he needed that.
