Ryan Matthews. 12th overall pick. Had a pro bowl second year I believe then meh
Casey Hayward. He led the league in interceptions during his first two seasons, earned back-to-back Pro Bowl selections and spots on the All-Pro team. After five seasons, he underperformed in 2020 and was released to create cap space.
Shaun Phillips
Cromartie. He was excellent to start and was fine toward the end. But his tenure in SD was short.
Cromartie. Historic first full season. Then was just okay the rest of the way before leaving.
Has to be Rivers, right?
Marcus McNeill. Started his career with back to back pro bowls then retired a few years later
I’m going with Quinten Jammer. Loved him on the corner and hit so hard, at the end everyone just wanted him to play safety because he kept getting burnt. Either way I miss #23
Joey Bosa? I feel bad because he has been trending just ok because of injuries, but it kinda fits. His first few years were electric
Seau? During his early career he was a force to be reckoned with. In his later years he was still solid but his production slowed way down. Then again, that could be said for a lot of the others mentioned in this thread.
Vannett
Natrone Means
I’d say either Mike Williams or Hunter Henry considering the draft pick players we got out of it.
It has to be Cro? Right?
Joey Bosa imo
I think this has to be Rivers. I remember the feeling of that last year. He’ll forever be GOATed imo but that bottom right corner belongs to Gates or LT and this is the second best slot on the graph.
Is started good ended bad going to be Kaeding?
Edit: I see that it was Merriman, that doesn’t quite sit well with me.
Philip Rivers. Started with a lot of good teams. Ended leading some ass teams at the end.
cromartie or heyward
Jason Verrett
It was not Rivers. Definitely Ryan Matthews.
Nate Kaeding
Throwback, but Natrone Means. He busted out of the league his second year, had injuries, traded to JAX. Came back and put up a solid year and ended on an okay note. Injuries are the devil.
Austin Ekeler. My dude averaged negative yards towards the end
Joey Bosa. Historic start and now dealing with injuries every season. Since he’s good when available but also frequently injured I would classify it as “OK” instead of good/bad.

Can y’all stop mentioning Joey Bosa.
He’s still a Charger.
