New Orleans Saints Adopted Fighter, Attacking Mentality Of Darren Rizzi Vs. Falcons

The New Orleans Saints took on the personality of their head coach for the first time in years with Darren Rizzi at the helm. How Derek Carr, Alvin Kamara, Cameron Jordan, Tyrann Mathieu and others all took on the fighter and attacking mentality of their coach and how it benefited the game plans from Joe Woods and Klint Kubiak in the process.

Woods was the driving force behind the team’s third down defensive shifts that put Chase Young and others in key positions to make a play. Cameron Jordan saw more snaps than he’s seen all season and he made good on them. What went into the decision whether or not more snaps for the veteran defensive end may be on the way.

  1. I saw that attacking mentality on the defense…not sure its in the offense tho. Specially with Carr only showing up for one half and Kubiak forgetting how to call good plays.

  2. What I'm about to say it's just me so don't hold it against me. AS THE HEAD COACH GOES SO GOES THE TEAM>IF THE HEAD COACH HAVE A LOSING MENTALITY, THE TEAM DEVELOP THAT LOSING MENTALITY.

  3. If the new Orleans Saints run the table and find a way to finish the season at 10-7 and sneak into the wild card playoff picture, with this new found energy because of coach Rizzi, they will be the most dangerous underdog in the tournament. I like their chances with Mccoy coming back, thats a huge addition! The O-line didn't allow a sack against a blitz heavy Atlanta front 7..no matter how the Saints finish this year, make or miss the playoffs, the upcoming draft will be a franchise shifting draft if they can some how hit on all the pics… thanks to the Lattimore trade they got extra picls in the early rounds. 14 total picks in all… this is a chance to add depth and get younger and more explosive. Lets hope for the best for the 2024 Saint's. 2025 will be critical!!! Hope they get it right!!! WHODAT ⚜!!!

  4. I sick and tired of this Shaheed narrative. Shaheed has a very very low catch rate. He’s not the number 1 yet here yet again Ross mentioned him as a missing playmaker like he’s the go too at the end of the game. That’s how we lost the Eagles game.

  5. Dude, let's stop overreacting to rah rah rah coaching and be real here. They needed Koo misses to win that game. Sure they played ok overall, but it wasnt as good as the first game. The Falcons had 2 TDs handed to them or it's not even close. Stop overhyping every single thing Rizzi does. "Being transparent with fans" does nothing to help the team win games. You people are so ga ga about Rizzi screaming and yelling, being a cheerleader, but in the end it's not worth much. Did you see Belichick and Reid being cheerleaders? No, they were level headed and calculating. Rah rah only takes you so far
