  1. Just my opinion here I feel slowik does not adapt to the overall strength of this team which I think is passing I feel he’s trying to make this team run first which is not our greatest strength yes we have a great running back but by no means do we have a good offensive running scheme

  2. Please…just give cj in-game play calling. He’s a smart guy, and he learns fast. Patterson calls blitzes great as well so it’s a solid support from center already.

Bobby deserves his spot no matter how many times we haven’t scored points in the second half 🤷‍♂️ we’re here BECAUSE of him TOO.

  3. Here’s an even scarier thought for you Cody; what if Slowik stays and Johnson leaves this offseason? I don’t think it’s a reach and I think if it happens, the 2025 Texans look even worse than we’ve looked so far this year

  4. At the end of the day it’s up to Bobby to figure it out. Oline might not be great, he missed Nico for 5 weeks, but not scoring a touchdown in the second half since week 6 is unacceptable with pro athletes on the field.

  5. This would be such a stupid move, fire Slowick but keep the O line coach lol yeah that'll fix a lot. If they fire Bobby Slowick who will become the new fall guy for Demeco Ryan's and his poor coaching? His clock management and crucial choices at the end of games is really bad. 58yrd field goal attempt with nearly 2 minutes left in the game lol really…..yet its Slowicks fault lol yeah sure.

  6. Dumb Idea, This is Straight up a COACH problem.. He didnt go out and get any help for CJ so why is it BOBBY'S problem……Get your stuff straight! Your WHACK!!!!!! with your thoughts

  7. What Texans need next year is to draft better O-line huge solid big body guys and for Example look at the O-line players the Ravens have big huge body guys Texans need players like the Ravens have and have to be a little more bigger then Laremy Tunsil

  8. Fire Bobby Slowic. That's the only answer. The man runs the offense like Buttchin did, he has a plan, a list of plays, and adjustments be damned he's running the plays, he pre-set. whether he really does that or not, that's how his play calling plays out. FBS.

  9. And Texans i hope next year they let go of some guys of the 0-line and get new players at the O-line and texans trust me i know what am telling u what y,all need to do..

  10. I mean, I dont think Ben Johnson had experience as an OC when he got promoted during the Lions 2022 season. Didnt they end up having a 8 game winning streak after that?

  11. In fairness, Demeco once said that the O-line issues had been addressed and clearly it has not. The players deserve some of the blame as well, I don't think that is in dispute. I think it is fair to say that some of the play calling has been questionable at times and damn near head scratching at other times. My issue with not letting Jerrod Johnson call plays with Bobby advising is what do you have to lose? If Jerrod can't hit the offensive water while standing on the pier, they give the play calling right back to Bobby. It also gives you an idea of how he does calling plays before potentionally making him the full time offensive coordinator in the offseason. We, as fans, have waited for hard conversations to be had not just with players but with coaches and it feels like nothing has gotten through. When the decision is finally made, it is after the season is over. They have a window now and in my opinion they are hoping for a different outcome trying the same thing. I'm not behind the scenes so I have no idea what Demeco and Bobby talk about, but this is just the view from a fan's window.

  12. Demico wont fire bobby because thats his buddy and if he fires bobby , next yeat bobby wont get a job no where . So his looking out for him sad but true . This year just got waisted hopefully next year we get a better oc .

  13. DeMeco who preaches accountability isn't holding his coaches to accountability? 🤔

It also means the whole offensive staff + DeMeco don't know how to call plays for the offense, because opponents are swarming all over us.

  14. It’s time to move on this offense is to predictable no screen passes no check downs
    1st down. Run Joe Mixion
    2nd down. Run Joe Mixion
    3rd and long. Pass attempt
    3 and out

    No 1st down passing
Always going for the long pass
Need to keep the defense guessing

  15. Chicago Bears fired their Offensive Coordinator Shane Waldron for mishandling their Franchise QB, Caleb Williams. Then the Texans need to fire Bobby Slowik. If Ryans want to continue helping up for Slowik for mishandling their Franchise QB, CJ Stroud, then Ryans need to go as well. Both teams has a Franchise QB. But, only one team took decisive action in the middle of the season. At this point, either Ryans is not HC material or Stroud should tried to do the best he can under trying circumstances and when his rookie contract is over, leave Houston for another team that is better coached.

  16. Nah we not gonna start selling Bobby, and letting Nick who been here fur the last 4 yrs slide. Let's not forget Nick wanted the tight ends coach from the pats to be our OC. If there's anybody who needs to go it's Nick.
Dude been messing around for 4 yrs skating off of Tom's 6 rings. Giving us this rag tag O line. People wanted Rick gone more than they want gone. But at least Rick got Duane Brien Chris myers and Wade smith and Mike briesel in his first 2 yrs at GM, literally our whole oline minus Winston, our best o line

  17. You want a superbowl Texan team…. Get a number 1 corner and upgrade offensive line. Slowick is average at best but even with him you can still win if you stop being predictable. We need coaching changes but i dont think its Demeco or Bobby.

  18. What are Slowik’s weaknesses? Failure to adjust in game and after the half, o-line, calling the running game, properly using his personal, and THE DAMN GIMMICKS! He was a PFF analyst, a defensive analyst in Washington with Mike Shannahan, a passing game analyst in SF with Kyle. Results? He can scheme the passing attack when facing average defensive coordinators, he didn’t have experience calling the run, coaching the o-line, or making adjustments. In a conference against KC, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and now Los Angeles where coaching is elite or near that level, Slowik is not going to cut it. If Clint Kubiak, Benton, and Dennison don’t survive to rejoin the Saints staff next year, these are potential moves to make.

  19. All great QB’s have the ability to audible and taking that away from Stroud is just dumb. Slowik gets too cute at times and it shows with lost yardage plays on sweeps and some of the horrible screen calls in certain situations. This offense feels like a finesse offense instead of smash mouth and it’s showing in our soft line.
