Giants Grid Day 7: Who started bad and ended great?
November 13, 2024
This had by far the most competition, as both Hakeem Nicks and Jeremy Shockey were considered, but Jason Pierre-Paul is the one who started great and ended okay. We're in the final three!
Reminder that I will not be accepting Giants currently on the team.

Manning started bad and he’s our lord and savior now
Corey Webster.
I’m going Tiki here. His first three seasons, he was a third-down back and kick returner. Then he became an every-down player who fumbled too much. By the end he was putting up Hall of Fame numbers. His last regular season game, he rushed for 234 yards, still a franchise record. I know he made himself look bad with his retirement announcement and slamming Eli and Coughlin in the media, but this is where he belongs.
Tiki Barber
People forget fans were ready to fire coughlin and move on from Eli at the beginning of the 2007 year, especially after starting 0-2. Eli is the definite answer here
Phil Simms
3rding for Tiki
Strahan.
Only 18 sacks his first 4 years
Eli Manning
Definitely Eli. Giants fans were ready to get him outta here and he won a Super Bowl in response.
Eli Manning
Eli. His first few games were brutal. People were questioning why we got him over Rothlisberger.
This is already shaping up to be an Eli vs Tiki battle. Both are great answers.
I’m going Tiki. Eli struggled in the beginning but basically every young QB does (or at least did) and I doubt most people had really lost hope on him. Tiki was legitimately about to be out of the league before he started holding onto the ball.
