The Canucks FINALLY have their STAR player back!

The Vancouver Canucks beat the Calgary Flames. Elias Pettersson with a great game, Jonathan Lekkerimaki with his debut, and Erik Brannstrom with his first goal as a Canuck. You had JT Miller who got himself some points, and Quinn Hughes shwoing great edge work as usual. The Canucks are first in points percentage in the pacific division as they continue to perform well.

  5. I'm glad we're optimistic but let's not get ahead of ourselves, if we see this kinda play over the next 10 or so games then I think it'd be safe to say it haha

  6. Saying the flames aren’t that good is demeaning don’t get me wrong we are not winning anything any time soon but we were ranked as bottom 3 in the league and had a very bad 2 periods tn. In saying that we have out preformed expectations and beat the leading team in the pacific last night in dominant fashion

  10. Hronek has been fuc*ing awesome this season. Even on that play he wasn't to blame since the puck was literally going wide due to the angle from Hroneks play but unluckily Quinn put the puck right on the players stick.

  11. My Garland skate Jersey finally showed up and they finally win at home, what a good day and what a good game. Can't say enough about Lankinen, happy he's been here to help the Slump of Silovs and our Damaged Demko

  12. Lekkerimaki looked pretty good when he wasn’t on the powerplay. For someone who has most of his goals with Abbotsford on the powerplay, he sure became a damn statue out there on the powerplay against Calgary. I kept yelling, “Move around! Create some space! The Flames have all of your angles covered! Move around a bit!” I’m not saying he needed to skate around, but he just wasn’t trying to make himself available to receive a clean pass. Hence why the other 4 players just kept passing it to one another and he never really got a chance at the net on the powerplay. 🤦🏻

    Oh well. Like I said, he looked good the rest of the game.

  13. As is my habit, a late Canucks game here in Japan , followed by a recap from Deaner! Hogland, Garland and Joshua will be the third line, non? Keep up the good work Deaner.

  17. The flames are legit the last year version of u bums.. u guys aren't that good either..they're fluking out, kinda like the nucks did last year😂😂😂 difference is flames have heart after giving away all their star players… n someone tell that dummy petey to buy a helmet that fits his head

  19. Why aren’t they playing Petey on the right side to take those one timer bombs like he did a couple OS years ago. Any benefit he has at centra is was overshadowed by his buckets of goals on the right wing. Lekerrimaki needs to get played regularly…that’s how rookies get better. Can you imagine keeping McDavid or Bedard down in the minors for 5 years to ‘develop’ them. Jesus. They get better by being used to the faster harder tempo
