Deebo Samuel talks about Brock Purdy being upset with himself for his performance on Sunday

  1. Sorry to hijack this thread but are the mods removing every post about Moody? I’ve noticed very little conversation about him and if you try to create a new thread it automatically gets removed.

  2. I love Brock Purdy man. I love his mentality to want to be better. But I sure hope that he understands how much better he has made the team.

  3. I really hope this is just Brocks personality, a guy that’s always striving to improve, and not that the constant beratement from pundits over his first couple years negatively affected his perception of himself.

  4. Bock is right. That RZ offense ain’t gonna cut it. Not saying it’s Brock’s fault.

  5. Overcome an adapt. Realize the lack of control of personnel. The public face one has to have during adversity is a gift in itself. Humility is absolutely necessary. Great job Brock the real Rock.

  6. Purdy only had one bad throw in the RZ to Kittle. Even then, lines getting pushed back into him, it’s probable the DT hit his arm as he finished his pass, and it went over and wide. That’s it. That’s the only play one could really say if he maybe shifts over, he may save that play. Otherwise, he looked lights out to me. I know he probably looks inward, but man the line is still doing his zero favors on most of his snaps. Blow block by TW and Guerrendo. One results in a sack and the other a mind blowing play by Purdy.

  7. Maybe Deebo should take a leaf out of Brock’s book. Dude has been little more than a ghost this season.

  8. Brock possesses something that was probably taught to him from a young age, and is something you see a lot less of these days (not just in sports) ..,. Accountability.. of course to his team (which is more obvious) but to himself first and foremost.

QB skills aside, Brock seems like such a sensible and head on shoulders guy, and it shows on the field.

Happy he’s our QB. thank you for the share OP!!

  9. I really love this kid. He has a lot of heart, and he’s a perfect example of the best parts about Niner culture. We definitely have someone special!

  10. Every interview these days asks leading questions and it’s driving me insane.

Instead of trying to guess at the answer to the question you just asked, or give multiple examples of possible answers, how about you just ask the question and then shut the fuck up

  11. Brock does need to be better. Too many hospital balls that, to a degree, he’s had to make to combat batted balls. Guys that go up and get them absolutely have reduced/no YAC yards available.

The team needs to be better as a whole, all three phases of the game.

  12. This is why I think Brock will be a champion someday. He is relentless in his self-reflection

  13. You could criticize Deebo for his numbers being down this year, but he still advocates for Purdy as if Purdy’s gifting him a 1,000 yard+ 10 td season which is admirable.

Some will call it arrogance on the players’ part but despite the frustrating season, guys still seem bought in.

  14. I love that Brock thinks “how can I improve” but dude…. You won us the game! You were the reason!

  15. Brock Purdy is ass on ST and getting pressures on the QB. If he can figure that out he will be solid, until then we might just be as good as the offense takes us

  16. If there is one thing to be upset about is the Red Zone offense. They have to convert these great drives into TDs, we can all see Brock is moving the ball but we just need those TDs in the Red Zone

  17. Lots of love being heaped on Brock (rightly so) in this thread but can we give some love to Deebo? Guy has really stepped up this season as a leader playing hurt and through sickness and trying to motivate his teammates (even if his methods are a little aggressive) to level up their game.

  18. He’s a treat qb and im glad we have him but can someone please do something to get him TDs as opposed to missed FGs
