Sometimes this team just looks old and slow. Low effort and lazy passes throughout entire periods at a time. If the shooting isn’t hitting the net, this team is hard to watch.
3rd period was a disaster. Felt slow, playing not to lose. A far cry from the Blues game where they ran it up

Why is it that this is the second time in a week that they’ve been pretty well rested, played a team coming off a road back to back who lost the previous night at home, and lost? What’s the deal, do they need to be in a rhythm? It’s just… weird and I really don’t like it.
Idk what happened but in the middle of the 3rd period Toronto just turned it up to 11 and we got caught flat footed. There was no reason this game should’ve ever gone to OT.
You are going to have games like this, any team does. But man, it just really sucks because it felt like they were in total control for the first 50 minutes.

Despite LT not charging after the puck, he was still our best player. We give up so many breakaways, and our whole team looked tired and disengaged in the third period.
I know everyone loves chykrun, but he gives up at least one break away a game.
Did lappy play? I can’t believe this was potentially his last start for a while and he still didn’t show up.
Is mangi invisible some games because of lappy? The third line really needs to get moving. Hopefully eller can provide that spark (and give dowd a break in the penalty killing).
