@0:50 watch in playback speed 0.25 you can clearly see McDavid trip him with the left skate very clearly but some how the NHL cant see that but I can on my crappy computer screen

Just cause a player skates backwards doesn’t mean he can skate backwards and protect the puck to no end. Same goes for getting hit from behind in open ice. You can hit from behind just not into the boards.
i use the McD curve on my stick and can't backhand the puck with it to save my life. i oughtta give him a call and ask him what the secret is.
