If Pat is the dude he was last night, this Bulls team is pretty good. If he climbs back into his shell, then we aren’t shit. Feels like Pat is the X factor for this team this year.
Hope he can strong a few more of these games together. Just gotta be aggressive, good cuts and drives.
Frustrating to see he can’t finish at the rim. He could have dropped 30 if he can finish at the rim.
He was also the primary defender on KAT, OG, and Brunson for periods in the game.
I would trade Pat for a bag of popcorn. Still feels like he’s a rookie.
Remember when up until the ’24-’25 season we used to clown on Patrick and then he had that one game against the Knicks where he started to put it together and became a 18/8/4 clutch player and monster defender who outplayed his contact all because he started chewing gum when he played?

As soon as Billy switched him as KAT’s primary defender KAT was more or less a non-factor on offense. Granted baning knees helped as well, but he also played great defense on Brunson.

His best game this season. Good for him.
