  1. As a Steelers fan I was really apprehensive about getting RW and JF. With that being said I was wrong about both of them. I thought JF was just a sack taking machine and RW was just used up. Both have proven me wrong and I'm glad they did.

  3. Russell had the stats of a top 5 or 6 QB in the league at the time when he was with Denver.
    So it wasn't really a case of it didn't work out at all in Denver. It was that he wasn't wanted by Sean Payton and he had intentions of trying to make it out to be that Russell couldn't play well.

  9. Joey Porter Jr has been racking up the penalties….in a huge Penn State fan he didn't a lot there too, way too handsy same as now in the NFL…he's a good CB but has to learn to play it safe because there gonna call it Everytime on him

  16. Lifelong Steelers fan. I’ve believed in Russ right from the start. But for a totally incomprehensible call at the end of the 2015 SB, he’d have two championships. That’s absolute proof he’s got unique talent and experience. Pickens is also clearly top tier. But everybody is getting ahead of themselves. The Ravens have an all-time offense, and the Bengals (who were a bad decision to go for 2 away from OT against them) remain very dangerous. That’s 4 games. If this Steelers team can beat or hang with the Ravens on Sunday, then’s let’s talk. It may well be 35-14 the other way, though, and everybody will suddenly be singing a different tune.

  21. You can pretty much guarantee a playoff berth year after year, and this is the best start in several years, but until they win a playoff game, they are still not a premier team. I'm an old school Steelers fan, but we have not won a playoff game since 2017. That's a problem.
