  1. I like the colors but it’s super basic. The city connects really really fell off after a year or 2 league wide creatively and there’s only 1 or 2 a year that are nice.

  2. The zero is there to represent the number of trips back to the finals that the bulls have made post Jordan.

  3. Teams struggle for years (decades) to create a recognizable brand that fits the city/team and then every year they are expected to shit out a new clean look. Tough ask. Outside the obvious merch money… are City Jerseys really a net positive for the league in the long run? Feel like it would be smarter to create 5 city jerseys and have them on rotation.

  4. Why do they insist on using Art Deco designs again like it’s The Great Gatsby.

In 2017, the best City Edition jersey was the Vice City Miami Heat jersey. That jersey has sold 5x more than all their jersey sales during their 3 championship seasons.

  5. Yawn. There are probably a thousand gifted designers in Chicago (at least) that could have done something really cool with this. Did they even try using an AI?

While we’re at it I hate how the league has abandoned the home-team-light / road-team-dark uniform standard. I swear I’ve seen Bulls home games where we’re in the reds and the road team is in their “home” whites. Confusing as hell for my old ass.
