[Highlight] After 46 point night where he went 4/8 from the line to lose a heartbreaker, KAT practices shots alone behind the post game coverage

  1. I know it’s hard for someone to not beat themselves up over this but KAT went well above the call of duty tonight. It’s everybody else that needed to step up this game.

Except Cam. He went off with what little time he played tonight.

  2. Problem with him is not the offense so fts don’t worry me, our defense needs to be better. He needs to make his presence known on defense, get some blocks and clutch defensive plays.

  3. I don’t care about the defensive numbers tbh. I feel like it’s on us for not using him correctly on that end because man is he a dog on offense

  4. there are 2 things that you can’t teach or force upon a player: effort and heart. KAT has got those. He’s a Knick.

  5. KAT played his heart out man. Sucks that we lost but I have been thoroughly impressed by KAT offensively thus far. I would like to see him step it up on the defensive end but I know it’s asking a lot when he has to also carry the scoring load.

Mikal is who I’ve been very disappointed by. He just looks so soft out there and feels like he’s not giving his full effort. I really hope he can turn it out around soon because we have some amazing talent on this team and shooting be 5-6 right now.

  6. Say what you want about the current team chemistry/results—this is the place KAT wants to play more than anywhere else. Also, like we saw tonight, probably a lot easier for his family to make games at the Garden than anywhere else too.

I’m not totally sure what Leon is cooking up, imo this team doesn’t feel “done” from a personnel standpoint, but I’ve grown to really enjoy KAT’s “homecoming” at MSG. I didn’t see this fire in Minnesota too often—maybe I just wasn’t looking.

  7. I’m not a hater of KAT also not a fan – kinda waiting and see. But maybe practice some defensive drills tho? Just feel like sure he went 50% from the line and thats not great but also its very isolated. His defense is where he has the most to gain? Just my two sense which is worth very little in nba lol
