Phillies ‘listening’ on Nick Castellanos; 5 landing spots

  1. I spent at least 1 minute considering this. I have at least 30 questions. First, why? Second, what? Third, clubhouse cancer.

  2. Clearly need to get the memo out to writers that we can’t afford players and player development so unless he’s free, he wouldn’t be considered

  3. Can’t ever have too many defensively challenged outfielders with a sub-.800 OPS, right guys?

  4. Don’t really want him but if we took on his contract in order to facilitate an Arenado trade AND get a better prospect/player return I’d be down. Just stick him in the outfield and hope he performs well enough to garner trade interest. Also for the memes

  5. Talented but we all remember his little power move at home plate and yadi got in his face over it.

  6. Let’s say it’s a 3–0 ballgame with the Cards in front of the Royals as we go to the top half of the fifth inning, Castellanos to lead things off. u/the_dayman623 is gonna be taking us the rest of the way through this thought experiment as Holland takes over on the mound. Um, I made a post earlier in the day that I guess went into the DDT that I am deeply ashamed of. If I have hurt anyone out there, I can’t tell you how much I say from the bottom of my heart I’m so very, very sorry. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith – as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a home run. And so that will make it a 4–0 ballgame. – I don’t know if I’m gonna be posting in this sub again.

  7. He is mediocre at best and is decent in clutch situations. Pass. Love his personality though

  8. Idk why even read posts like this. They already said they would be cutting players if anything g, not adding expensive vets

  9. From the people who brought you 2024 Lance Lynn and Kyle Gibson… The St. Louis Cardinals: Your home for aging, way past their prime vets.
