[Butler] Harrison Butker has collapsed on his left knee following through EVERY kick this season. It is a change in his technique that really caught my attention, and unfortunately it’s not surprising his left knee needs a meniscus procedure.

So he’s gonna come back towards the end of season / playoffs and have to switch his technique back and get used to that… kinda suboptimal
What’s the benefit to this change anyway?
This one hurts.
I think this is the biggest injury we’ve had all season
Wait is the thesis that this technique caused the injury, or that an existing injury was causing this technique?
It sucks that he will be out for four weeks, and not likely 100% even once he does return (see 2022) but this is better than them waiting it out and him getting seriously injured during the playoffs.
His wife called, needed him back in the kitchen
Not sure if I believe the reporter saying it’s a change. Butker has been kicking with that exaggerated follow through for well over a year now. If you watch the Super Bowl every kick he makes is the exact same technique.
Damn your wheel Brendan Pullna!
Justin Reid time
It started last year, and coming off the worst year of his career, I assumed it was some tweak to his follow through he had come up with to fix his issues, and it certainly worked.
But I always thought it seemed far too unnatural to be repeated so often
Ok… but why are we doing it now if it’s been a relative non-issue for the season? This upcoming game very likely decides who gets the number 1 seed for the afc.
Damn son I tore my meniscus in the summer and I’m STILL waiting on an appointment with a specialist

May have to be more aggressive on offense.
Wow what a terrible news
