Rebuilding the San Francisco Giants for 2025
In this video I take my best crack at rebuilding the San Francisco Giants for 2025. The Giants enter the offseason in an odd spot where the players and contracts on the roster would imply they are built to win now, however, they continue to fail to keep pace in the division. With very little coming down the pipeline, it leaves the team searching for budget options that can punch above their contracts, and hopefully make a strong run in 2025. I hope you enjoy the video and have a great day!

Thank you so much for watching. The support on the series has been amazing so far and I look forward to the rest of the month. Have a wonderful day!
Wade lacks power. YAZ salary will be too high for a marginal player.
People saying "ditch Yaz" have no clue what they are talking about. 2 WAR, gold glove outfielders don't grow on trees. $10M for Yaz makes all the sense in the world. Giants need to lock up shortstop: Adames or Kim on the free agent market (6 years/$145M should land either). Shift Fitz over to 2B. Flores/LWJ platoon can keep 1B warm until Eldridge is ready. Ramos-Lee-Yaz OF alignment actually has the potential to be good next year.
This team needs to be built around pitching. Retain Snell, and add one of Fried or Burnes. Then this would actually be a legit playoff contender. You need to stack pitching depth nowadays. Multiple hurlers are always hurt / ineffective / going through. Pitching and defense.
No offense, but I can tell you don't know this team at all.
1: Reggie Crawford is out the entire year.
2: You seriously think Jordan Hicks will be a starter and Kyle Harrison won't even be in the rotation?
3. They have a ton of money and they're gonna try to spend it. They do need a middle infielder, but how does Solano make sense over Willy Adames or Ha-seong Kim(who is best friends with Jung-hoo Lee BTW).
4. You don't think they will sign a single big name? I think they'll either go hard after Snell or Corbin Burns, and if they can't land Soto, they are gonna try hard to get somebody like Santander.
Do a little bit of research before making a video like this. You know nothing about the Giants.
Word is the Giants are probably going to sign Ha Seong Kim to play SS or second. Yaz is unlikely to be back based on reports in the Bay Area. Giants need to get a stopgap first baseman until Eldridge is ready. Maybe Goldschmidt with Lamonte wade as the back up. The team you’re describing is a nightmare type of team the guy they just fired would put together. Hopefully Posey will be more aggressive. Supposedly Snell wants to return but who knows if that’s true. It would be cool if they would go after someone like V Guerrero jr, and stick him at DH.
Harrison???
This makes the giants even worse than last year 💀
lol Wilmer just accepted his player option. Reggie Crawford will be out all year, they have Fitzgerald and Schmitt so they won’t sign Solano at all. Josh Bell is garbage, Wade is a far better stopgap than Bell. Giants have bought Rodon and Snell on Pillow deals and now Posey is ready to offer long term deals so they will sign a high end ace long term, this video is absolute trash
The Giants should not bring Bell, Yaz or Solano into the team. They also should let go of Wade because well Ramos cant catch a fly ball and Wade is holding up a spot for Eldridge to come in at. It make sense to give Eldridge a shot this whole season with no expectations other than to gain experience. Wade needs to go Yaz he had a run but its time to say goodbye. Solano he couldnt catch a cold if he tried. Let Schmitt play short and Fitz play second or bring in Kim from San Diego. I like the idea of McCann and its time to let the prospects develop and play without pressure. No matter who they sign this offseason just like last season at best they are .500. They need to build a new core of young players that hit into the gaps and can play defense and not strike out or pop up every at bat like they already do. Giants baseball has been such a joke when Farhan took over and has gotten worse when using full analytics to determine a player career. Go back to the small ball era and win more games. I dont care how many people show up to game just keep winning that the goal.
The giants had the most swing and misses with runners in scoring position last year. We just need guys who can actually put the ball in play.
