  1. 🇧🇷⚾️ Man, it's hard to understand this decision. Praying for something extraordinary compensation. Abraço a todos fans dos Braves , direto do Brasil! ⚾️🇧🇷

  2. Why would you now keep Morton while there are equally talented younger options. That is putting a lot of faith in a guy who as to this point as been less that stellar. Murphy has shown he does not play well in the ATL heat also

  3. I will be sick watching Sean Murphy play 5 straight games. Can't handle watching strikeouts with RISP or hitting into double plays. The hardest hitter ro watch last year. I would rather watch Orlando Arcia swing the bat because at least he tries

  4. I hope Travis has a great season in LA. He'll be missed in Atlanta, no doubt. I hate this decision by the Braves, though. Playing Murphy 5 times a week makes the team worse at Catcher, and worse as a team. I feel like Atlanta would have been better off keeping Travis and just going cheap in the OF until Acuna Jr. returns.

  5. It will be interesting to see who grabs the reigns as the clubhouse leader. I have been saying since Freddie left that it has to be Albies. But you can’t have a winning team without a leader. And it just felt like last season no one wanted to that guy.

  6. Travis was declining with all the extra play. He needed to be a full time back up. Murphy I think will bounce back as most of the lineup will with health and no pressure to do too much. He's not going to be first half 2023 but he will be closer to it than last year with steady playing time and deeper healthy lineup. At least that's the hope.

  7. There's no question Murphy bounces back from 2024. The only question is how high is the bounce? Is it first half 2023 high? Is it career norms? Is it marginally?

He's hit every year of his career except for 2024 so I think he bounces back to being career norm Sean Murphy.

  8. I already miss travis, but I understand business and baseball. This was the next option to free up money. I hope this move pays off this off-season…
