Trust in this man’s vision!

  1. Nope. Until there are positive results, can’t trust any GM that Arte hires and micromanages. Sadly I don’t enjoy feeling this way, but I also don’t enjoy watching this mediocre team year after year. Trust is earned, not given.

  2. It’s shocking how many fans still place blind trust in a GM who has had one of the worst 4 year stretches in the Angels history.

It’s Literally hard to go any lower than this.

  3. I trust him, if he was able to prevent Moreno in trying to overpay for Trea Turner and thinking that is enough alone – he’s able to help the team. But it most certainly will take time.

  4. No no no, it doesn’t work like that when we’ve endured so much bullshit up high. Christ wtf did I do wrong in a previous life to be an Expos and Angels fan in this one??? Give us a reason to get behind him other than he’s just who happens to be in this position.

We deserve at least that, rather than once again expected to blindly believe just because.

  5. why? the team has been worse every year since he became the GM and the farm system is still trash

  6. Unfortunately, Arte Moreno’s presence sullies any vision or plan any GM would have much and Perry is no exception. Any GM would be hamstrung by Moreno’s input and/or improper investments.

  7. What vision? This team has changed directions and been listless the last 3 years. What is his goal anyway?

  8. Trust this fat fuck to eat my ten hotdogs, nachos and peanuts 🥜? Nah.. He works for Arte and in my humble opinion.. Arte is the worst mlb owner EVER!!

  9. I think if he was in an environment that allowed him to really make all the moves he wants to make, success would eventually happen. I just don’t know if that will happen with the team he’s on now. People also need to understand that “would eventually happen” doesn’t mean next year.

  10. I guess I’m in the camp that’s going to trust him for now. I’m a relatively new Angels fan, and I keep hearing more bad things about Eppler and his draft picks and free agent signings, so I’m willing to give Perry the benefit of the doubt going forward. FWIW, his 2024 offseason free agent signings so far are significantly better than those from last offseason, and I’m optimistic that he’s not done.

Besides, it must be tough to be a GM with an owner behind him who can’t make up his mind if he wants the team to be a contender or rebuild, or if he wants to cut payroll or spend.

  11. Seems like another early start to free agency patch up problems with mediocre guys who have little to no upside.
