  1. This dude is unstoppable man, if we could ever get this rotation right around him we will be just fine

  2. This is the way. I don’t give a shit if Giannis never develops a 3 point shot again, if he can get a midrange game consistent at 40%+ that can extend his prime into his mid to late 30s

  3. they better stop saying he only runs and dunks, at least 30% of his shots have to be made from midrange and he’s making about 45-46% percent of them in total

edit: i’m kinda a fraud, it turns out it was 25.3% of his fga are midrange jumpers (we gonna ignore some of his longer layups and hooks), but he’s still making 46.666% of them, this is crazy from him but we also know he’s been working on it during the olympic qualifers…that’s not like a 3% improvement, that’s at least a 5% improvement from the 2021-22 season, and probably closer to an 10% improvement from the previous 2 year!!! ALMOST DOUBLE DIGITS

  4. Thanks for the compilation, these are awesome. He’s actually starting to develop a consistent style. Really gets off his feet unlike Embiid’s middy for example. I’d love to see him keep taking these.

For reference, he’s shooting 50% on 54 attempts from 10-19 feet this season.

  5. So many of these shots looks like Khris Middleton moves. I wonder if Khris has been working with Giannis on stuff? That fadeaway was 100% Moist Jordan.

  6. I’m pretty sure that Giannis worked with Dirk’s shooting coach this offseason, maybe Dirk himself. Giannis’ footwork for that one footed high post fade is nearly identical to Dirk.

  7. I used to pray for seeing Giannis jumpers like this. What kind of monkey paw nonsense is this season?

  8. This is a huge development. The other big thing I’ve noticed him doing a lot more this year is the post up, bump thr guy off two feet into a hookshot in thr middle of the key from 6ish feet. While not flashy, that’s a massive shot that I always lost my mind about him developing/going to more.

A little Floater would be the same idea. Everyone has to sell out so hard on taking away the finish right at the rim that all of those other shots are essentially always wide open and really open the floor for him while still being close to the hoop

  9. I just want him to average 32 points throughout the
season and get the scoring title.

(If someone else averages more than 32 then I don’t even if he doesn’t get the title just get the new season high.)
