We have nothing to lose by doing this. Rightfully, this is how we should (in most cases) act when an athlete struggles. Yes—there are stark differences between the players, sport, situations, etc., but I feel like karma has been biting us in the ass the way Indy shoo’ed (no pun intended) ol’ Andrew right out the door. Maybe this doesn’t erase it and maybe AR doesn’t start completing 60% of his passes. But, maybe, just maybe, we try blanketing him with some positivity and affirmation instead of burying him with vitriol and doubt. Now granted, I have been an AR skeptic for some time, and even started making an Arch Manning jersey about week 4, but come Sunday, I’ll be rocking Richardson’s and sending good vibes his way. #GoColts #fortheshoe
(And if it doesn’t work we can all go back to be assholes after his first home start)

  1. Root for this dude so hard. He is a kid and needs support. I will be tuning in to see him play.

  2. I hope he works out but I’m not going to give him an ice cream cone for historically bad QB play. If you make bone head mistakes you can expect boos, that’s how the pros work.

  3. As the resident Phillies-Colts fan of this sub (I assume), I absolutely agree. Trea was atrocious and got booed out of CBP (as is the tradition in the city of brotherly love).

Nice little grass-roots effort to give him a standing ovation for every at-bat worked flawlessly. Granted, Trea was an All-Star experiencing a case of the yips, but maybe this will translate?

  4. What reality do you live in?!

If he completed 10 passes in a game again, the fans aren’t gonna be happy.

  5. Would love this, sadly some people would rather be right about their takes than help the cause. The stadium braking out in applause when AR steps on would be awesome

  6. Richardson was benched because of his lack of preparedness off field. It was showing in games. We were told it was for the rest of the season. They were confident at that time he needed the rest of the season and camp next year to get that in order…

Then two bad games in a row coupled with extreme media and fan pressure, they turn the table and suddenly Richardson is fixed and they allow him to return prematurely.

If anyone believes he would have returned if we win the last 2 games, I’ve got some land on the moon for sale.

What message is Richardson actually getting from this?
