[Pirates] To the lucky person who finds this card… We’d love to bring this card home to PNC Park to share with all Buccos fans. Here’s our offer:

  1. >2 season tickets behind home plate for 30 years

Well you can’t say they’re not trying

  2. What if you’re not in Pittsburgh? Or a Pirates fan. Could i sell it back to them for a bunch of cash?

  3. Worth it but I’d try to finagle passing the season tickets down to my kids but if they said no I’d accept still lol

Hope a pirates fan pulls the card

  4. I would ask for the cash equivalent of the 30 years of season tickets, donate the softball game to a local boys and girls club or some inner city youth team, and go to spring training.

  5. Even if it’s just the Pirates, 30 year season tickets for pulling a baseball card is insane! Id move to Pittsburgh myself if I pull that card lol

  6. I’m not a baseball card person, how much is this one likely worth? 30 years of season tickets there has to be high six figures.

  7. That’s actually not a bad deal at all. Would be cool if a Pirates fan pulled the card

  8. Take notes Dodgers. Correctly compensate fans instead of intimidating them into taking bad offers

  9. Surprised Nutting would sign off on this because he’s such a cheap fuck, but this is honestly a pretty good deal. The season tickets would be worth it alone for me since I live here. Lexus club behind home plate or even right above there are excellent seats for 30 years.

Makes me want to buy some cards and gamble lol.

  10. Imagine the lucky recipient receives the season tickets at the same time the Pirates become World Series contenders. 🥰

  11. Brewers fan here but I would take that deal in a heartbeat. The Pirates are a cool organization and that ballpark is beautiful

  12. I actually think it’s a very fair offer, maybe even more than what the card’s worth if you consider the experience you’ll get out of it since some of them you can’t even buy with money. For the team, it probably doesn’t cost more than the actual seat values, but the card will cost them a lot more than what those seats are worth, so this is definitely a win/win situation. I love that they give you two signed jerseys so you can keep one and sell the other.

  13. It’s like they assume that the person who pulls it is a Pirates fan who lives in the area. Chances are it’s going to someone who’ll probably take the cash from selling it.

  14. Oh yeah? Yall should see what the Brewers are offering for the Chourio 1/1

Three (3) 50% off hotdog vouchers good between the 6&7 innings*

    *good during spring training only

  15. Instead of investing in payroll or a competent front office, the Pirates decide to go full Willy Wonka.

  16. Alright yall, I know nothing about cards, where would one go about finding this card? Target gift set? I literally have no idea. Help a sister out? lol

  17. I imagine getting 30 years of prime seats is probably a massive tax bill for whoever claims it.

  18. I normally don’t have any interest in baseball cards, but this is going to make me consider buying packs (and moving to Pittsburgh)

  19. This is actually a pretty good offer and way more than any team has offered for a record breaking baseball. It’s very likely a non-pirate fan will get this card, though. Even more likely that the person would not be close to Pittsburgh to even use the season tickets. This one could sell for $100K at auction so maybe a Pirates fan would be willing to buy it and exchange it to the team to collect those perks.

  20. This isn’t really a good compensation for a 1/1 Rookie Auto. Not even for someone whose a Pirates fan & lives in the area. You’ll get more by selling the card after you get it graded

  21. Doing math, average life expectancy = 27yrs of baseball if healthy, relocating to Pittsburgh (🥶), having to watch Pittsburgh for 27 yrs…. hmm, nope, sell this bad boy and use to money to watch my team play before the arthritis kicks in…
