33. That's just who he is. He's going to give love to the people he loves, right or wrong. I don't think this effects his standing with his teammates because they know who he is.

36. Here's the thing. As far as I am concerned, the rebuild has already begun. Even if it is the same players, we are completely changing the way the team is run and coached. They've already indicated, right or wrong decision, that they're going to try to do a soft rebuild. We may need a full rebuild, but because of the way the cap and contracts work out, we might only be able to do a soft rebuild. To me, this essentially the audition for the new version of the team, because, frankly after the way things have gone, some players are just going to want to move on.

    The thing is we played like a much better team. We played like a team with a lot of injuries, but that's what we are, but at least we looked like we knew what we were doing out there, which is a change from the last few weeks. Essentially, the way it feels to me, is that we essentially already missed the playoffs and are stating the rebuild have a season early.

37. And of course he shouted out D.A. Not only are they personal friends, but he and D.A. tied their professional careers and reputations together. Plus, I said it before and everyone acted like I was crazy. Carr is not a "great leader" he is not a "great teammate," he just isn't, he's not that guy. And in my opinion, Carr and Allen are from that current/recent Raiders school of football culture, and frankly that's the main reason why I don't want Gruden that everyone seems to be fawning over because he's from that same Raiders camp. And it just doesn't work for the Saints. It hasn't exactly worked well for the Raiders either. It's been a disaster both places.
