1. Yankees fan here. I think he is going to the Mets. I'd rather him go anywhere except the Dodgers or Red Sox

2. I think Soto will be a Met also. The stars have aligned finally! Cohen promised a World Series and they were so close; they have the money to sign him, Lindor is their leader and perhaps an OMG remix will be the new theme song for '25- what more do you want? The biggest lesson Cohen learned is that there's good money and bad money in sports. Bad money is paying big bucks for guys who are past their prime. Good money is paying for a 26-year-old who could be the cornerstone of the organization for the next decade.

   And baseball stat wise, his defense will be more exposed at CitiField and his numbers will go down slg and ops wise.
   Who will protect him on the Mets..Alonso? (If he's resigned) ..nobody will, compared to Judge.
   And all the pressure will be on him as well.

   Soto will resign with the Yanks, book it.

9. Soto is a great player. However, he’s not worth the money he thinks he is. Judge is making $40M/yr. Soto is at most around $37M. With a 15 year contract, he’s at $555M. Anything more than that and it’s an overpay.
