Its INSANE for Keyonte, who is 20, to rate this low defensively. This kid is arrogant and has been handed every opportunity since being in the league and hasn't proven any worth.
Hes currently LAST in NEt Rating

And the second least efficient volume shooter in the nba.
Please bench Keyonte and let someone else have a chance to actually play hard.
Also for anyone who thinks keyonte is "making strides" as a PG. Hes not. Here is the data. He is just a guy who has the ball enough to accumulate assists but is awful at creating opportunities.

Who do you want those minutes going to? Patty Mills? PG is the hardest position to play, meaning it’s going to take more time for Key and Collier to develop. Be patient, we’re rebuilding.
Dude all you do is bash the team and head coach. Go write in your diary
You’re wasting your energy on this, the team isn’t trying to win, defense isn’t a focus for a reason.
Why do you feel the need to constantly shit on the team? You’re not winning brownie points with anyone here. They’re tanking. T-a-n-k-i-n-g. Go troll elsewhere. Your comments and your interactions are pointless at this time. Go touch some grass if you’re genuinely as upset as you’re leading on.
Couple things.
Keyonte just turned 21. Belated happy birthday Key.
I respect your willingness to speak your mind. This sub is too much of an echo chamber.
I wasn’t high on Key last year, but I’m not low on him this year. I don’t think he’ll ever be a true starting NBA point guard, but he can definitely be a better Jordan Clarkson. That’s still worth investing in right now while games don’t matter.
I’ve made peace with the fact Hardy is a system coach who is going to tweak things, but he isn’t going to change his system to fit the roster.
The eye test passes Filip but the analytics hate him, especially on offense. His defense isn’t awful but his offense is by the impact stats. He’s gotta find one consistent way to score and be more aggressive as a scorer going forward. Not easy going from a post college player to perimeter NBA player and he’s not an elite athlete nor has great length for his size. But he’s improving every game.
Collier and Cody also both rate really badly, bottom of the league bad in impact stats. But that’s all to be expected with rookies at the end of the day.
Keyonte is a kid himself but he had a year under his belt. We have seen essentially no improvement. I can’t look at a single part of his game and really say he’s improved beyond cutting down on the turnovers a bit. The decision making has matured a bit. But he’s definitely not taken a step forward.
I do think you can’t preach accountability and continue to throw Keyonte out there but with him, he’s only gonna get better with more minutes. I would like to see Hardy in close games pull Keyonte if he doesn’t have it though and have him learn what he’s expected to do and the things he’s missing. His defense on the Klay 3 last night…embarrassing. No rotation made and that’s an easy rotation to make.
Explain to me why Bucknell Analytics home brewed perimeter defense metric is objective factual proof that there’s nothing going on behind the scenes that Will would have to consider when doling out minutes based on merit.
We’re a bad team. That’s a terrible net rating. Tied with Flip. You ready to burn him too?
We’re trying to lose games. A second year volume shooter with bad efficiency doesn’t sound like the worst thing to me
