Great children’s book. It’s how I know what a lepton is.
I remember that one kid who’s so bad at math he confuses 2×3 and 2+3 as a 12-year-old
Absolute classic lol. I remember reading this back when I was a kid. I should grip this for my little one.
Where did you find this book?
This and ‘I want to go home’ were the top reads of my grade 3.
Holy smokes! Totally forgot about this book! Read it probably 10 times as a kid!
I met Gordon Korman in grade 4. A bunch of kids wrote stories to win a chance to meet him, and I was picked. One of the greatest moments of my life.
Holy shit. For decades I’ve been looking for a book I read as a kid and I think it’s by this author! I think it’s called I Want to Go Home. This is amazing
Never heard of this one! Loved all the Macdonald Hall books though (ie. Bruno and Boots) when I was growing up in the late 80s and was so excited to the read “The Zucchini Warriors” and “Macdonald Hall Goes Hollywood” when they were published in 1988 and 1991 respectively.
Gordon Korman is one of the authors who made me truly love reading.

Fat kid hides candy in the tuba
Just another reason to like Gordon Korman.
