I like option 1 with any of the other starting pitchers. Manea can pitch on game 3 after Senga.
option 1 all the way. i would prefer one of the other pitchers, and i’d like to see Acuña at second, but outside of that it’s perfect

Vientos is gonna DH/1B next season. The team has better defensive options at 3B (Baty/Mauricio/Acuna) and/or could sign someone.
I do not understand how people watched him play third, especially down the stretch being subbed every tight game for defense, or some of the mistakes he made, and think they aren’t gonna go back to the original plan and have him DH. He can play third in an emergency but he’s just not good enough there for every day play. HIs bat earned him a spot for sure but his skillset isn’t the type that improves especially with his speed, lateral movement, hands, and reaction time at 24 going on 25. His cannon bailed out a lot of his bad play.
It’s not a dig, the truthers won. I admit I was wrong; tho he’s gotta get past the infamous second season difficulties. I think he will especially with him learning to go the other way and not swing as hard. But defensively sound players especially with Vientos bat don’t get subbed out that much if there’s not an issue (what if a team ties or takes a lead and now his bat is gone?). If anything he should just add some muscle and focus solely on hitting and playing first in a rotation.
Kinda sick of McNeil.

Option 1 easily.
I don’t want Walker. He gets most of his value from defense which doesn’t age well. If we don’t re-sign Alonso, Vientos at 1B is the way to go. I think that Gilbert has a great chance to be the starting CF by the end of the season, but I doubt that he’ll be ready opening day. I am interested in Bregman, but no interest in Adames. We would have to pay him SS money to play 3B and his bar isn’t nearly as valuable at 3B. If we could get him at a cheap price, I would be interested in him, but he’s the only SS on the market, so he’ll get a pretty high price.
All 4 options should have Soto in the lineup 😤
Soto is a pipe dream and Bregman is a dick face. Kinda limits the real options.
No way would I want Winker as my starting DH. And I’ll pass on McNeil at 2nd too.
I want Acuna and Mauricio in this lineup.

Everyone saying they don’t want McNeil…why?
I know he has gotten worse after his batting title due to shift but he was looking great in the 2nd half. He is pretty good a 2B. Not sure Acuña has the bat to replace him and Mauricio is gonna need time.
2 and 4 would be Ls in my opinion.
Option 1 except Acuna at 2B, and McNeil on the bench UTL
I like 3, but I would start Acuña or Mauricio instead of McNeil. Or start them both and have Vientos DH.
