Caufield not making it would give him some motivation to mature his game a bit.
Einstein said that if experiments are done and re done and with same results and the same experiment is continued he called that Ludicrous.Now how many rookie coaches has the habs had in the last 30plus years.The answer is 7 rookies.Starting to get my point.This management team wanted to break that culture of losing but are doing the same thing as past management.Sorry but how do they expect a different result??? 80% of the nhl coaching talent is "out of bounds" for this team.You want to change this culture better start looking outside the box.Player loyalty means nothing in montreal anymore…that you must change.

I would be in no rush, because they are good with the Rockets, to promote them to the Canadiens instead of cimenting their confidence and player development with Pascal Vincent.
Seriously, although maybe not perfect and some won't make the NHL, but our drafts these last years are really starting to pay off, at least to me.
Would be funny if Team USA got folded in the 4 Nations (also Matthews is currently on IR). Feel prospects should be given some time to develop and don't rush it as being called up and then sent down will not help their development. Mind you Mailloux was called up then sent down after some major defensive gaffes and Joshua Roy….think that autograph signing no show could be held against him. Wouldn't call them up too quickly unless they sort up any defensive issues.

Hage is a couple of years away IMO but will be a good one.
CHL will lose 18 year olds to the NCAA. But will have younger players like Hage that went the USHL route.
USA is stacked and should win it all

If I were Lane Hutson and saw my face on Thomas the train I would be insulted. AS for demi god please, he is nowhere near a god. Stop trying to pump them up as they have not proved anything yet, and NO one is the savior of the Habs. It's a TEAM effort!! Stop already. I used to like your videos, but now they seem just childish and ridiculous.

A good example of developing a winning culture is the Washington Capitals; a lot of their young guys won back to back cups with Hershey and are now doing very well in the NHL.

My thought is that Caufield is not making US team because of his defensive play (also, his size), but he doesn't contribute a lot defensively (in my opinion), something he needs to work on. My two cents worth.
I'm liking Laval better than Habs now. Leave the players down there.
Caufield scores on the PP. He wouldn’t be on the PP on the 🇺🇸 team anyways. They don’t need him. Too small, not strong enough defensively.
