I don’t blame DQ for going for it on the 4th down after this play. If we converted, and may be scored a touchdown the trajectory and momentum of the game would have been heavily in our favor. I think he sensed that we were gassed and outgunned and needed to take a risk before an inevitable Eagles rally at the end. I just wish the play call on the 3rd and 4th were better.
That and the defense just needed more time on the sideline. In the moment I hated the call. Mostly because we failed. But in hindsight I get it.
Because of their awful ass kicker and punter??? Otherwise it’s a blowout and I hate those shit birds
We aren’t as good as everyone thought and aren’t as bad either. Yeah, the last two games have sucked because we had chances to win, but we got more work to do. We ARE ahead of where I thought we’d be at this point.
We need some rest and get guys healthier, especially JD. He isn’t right, despite what the team has been saying. We all have eyes.
No moral victories 🙅♂️
I don’t know if I’m impressed with this performance. I am impressed with how we’re doing overall in terms of the season. We can at least hang with the great teams. That’s pretty big in itself after what we were last year.
I think Jayden is definitely not 100%. I know the O-line is not 100%. Cosmi, Wylie and Coleman are definitely banged up and hurting. Combine that with short rest…the timing wasn’t the best to go against Philly and that D-line. Is what it is. I think if the O-line and/or Jayden wasn’t banged up…we probably score 1-2 more times, have a commanding lead late and win.
I was impressed with the Defense. It’s really coming along. Kudos to Joe Whitt. Yes, they got gashed at the end, but they were on the field a lot by that point and were gassed as hell.
In another year, with more talent and depth…. we’re going to be a wagon. So I’m still loving this season and our future.
I feel like we’re playing really well into the last 10 minutes of every game. I didn’t agree with the call but we’re doing way better than I thought we would. Our future is bright.
the game was winnable… but JD couldn’t drum up enough health to win
loss of zip on passes and agility on runs
JD’s agility was what upgraded the OL… without that – they were exposed
and the D was admirable… they put up with so much… bailing JD out time and time again
DQ says he would be competing to play…. how did he not sit JD for injuries and play Mario instead.?
Playcalling and tempo in those last 8 minutes weren’t acceptable tho.
grasping a little bit, but I appreciate the optimism. Time heals all. On to next week
This season is our floor. I’ll take it. Only up from here.
Everyone needs to temper their expectations. We are now competitive, but far from contenders. That will take a couple more seasons.
If Wylie blocks Carter there we could be having a different conversation
