They literally blacked out LA, Fresno and Oakland. SF plays the afternoon game. I’m disgusted.

  1. They go with what they think will get them the most viewers and thereby the most sponsor dollars cause we are a capitalist society and you need money to buy food, happiness, and security.

The Raiders are a flaming hogshit form of entertainment right now, not a whole lot of people want to watch that.

  2. Because they try to keep the crappy teams off of TV. It goes double for when two crappy teams are playing.

  3. It’s so shitty that Oakland residents cant see Raiders games.

Vegas stole our team. The least the NFL could do is let us watch the damn games.

  4. The NFL picks games it thinks people will want to watch. Raiders Dolphins is not high on most lists

  5. The Rams and Chargers are fiercely protective of SoCal and are responsible for our games never being shown down there (I’m sure their games get really low viewership numbers though)

  6. My brother in christ youd rather watch the raiders over one of the best rivalries in the nfl

  7. DM me, and I will give you options for free. It’s bullshit what they do and wonder why people stop buying TV.

  8. My father who has been down since 1963 has always maintained that CBS hates the Raiders because Al Davis called them out on their shit after the Heidi Game incident. It’s as valid a theory as any tbh

  9. It’s not just that we’re bad. Our game is inconsequential and Baltimore V Pittsburgh isn’t

  10. Look into Al Davis vs the NFL and you’ll begin to understand why they hate us to this day.

  11. If we were a top 5 team we’d be prime time all the time and our games would be broadcast nationally. We aren’t that, so this is what we get. Not too hard to figure that out

  12. Because watching the staring match of tyson and Paul, is more entertaining than watching the raiders do anything.

  13. Asinine. You telling me the East Bay can’t have Raiders games?

Fuck you NFL. And fuck that hairdo having sonavbitch Goodell, aka Jerry Jones’ lapdog

  14. It’s the double whammy of being in a time zone that few live in and they have a very bad record.

Even though they still have a top five national following, they aren’t hated enough to matter for the ratings.

  15. Steelers-Ravens is a much bigger and important game this year. But, yeah, this is a stick it to all the CA Raiders fans.

Bottom line, Raiders gotta start winning to get some respect.

  16. They don’t hate Raider fans. They just love money.

If you want to see more Raider games and you live in an area where they are showing a different game, DON’T WATCH THE OTHER GAME. Watch the Red Zone channel. Find a “stream”. Listen on Satellite Radio. Go for a walk and touch some grass. Do anything but watch CBS during those hours.

They are showing the game that will bring the most eyeballs for advertisers. If enough people don’t watch the Steelers/Ravens game in LA and Oakland, then you’re more likely to get the Raiders next time.
