Yes. It’s usually the first thing I look at for batting stats. Same with ERA+ for Pitchers.

yes. when I wanna quickly look at how good a hitter was, it’s the first thing I look at. not the only important factor, and can be misleading, but usually gives a good idea of how good they were.
Why is Bengie Molina blurred out?
I just want sports reference to be one of the first links when I google a player’s name.

What even is the “+”. Is it the subscription version? Baseball has too many nonsense stats man

Batting average is like field goal percentage. Steph Curry was around 100th place last year. That’s how ridiculous that stat is.
