If Schnieder would have drafted a QB, there are some winners, it would have been interesting, but he chose to stay in reject ville. If you accept that and believe it then that's who you are. 10. I can’t believe some of the comments I read. He is human, we don’t know why Connor made the decision he did. I’m glad so many of you are perfect and expect others to be as well. Connor is human, a Dad, and husband, life is more important than football. Prayers and best wishes for him and his family.

21. You know we had it all. Other than an o line… then we decide not to get an o line. Get rid of Russ and Pete.. coach Mike inherited a broken program. This is more than a rebuild…. I feel bad for the unfortunate heat that’s on him and Geno. Crappy situation for the hawks these past years..

23. It's ironic that this decision was made around the same time there was talk of moving him to guard because of all the bad snaps. Connor was emphatic when he came in that he only wanted to play Center. It would have been best for the team and for Connor to make that move but sometimes pride gets involved. If that's what it was that made him retire then good riddance, he was hurting the team at Center.

    This feels like yhe kind of retirement where as soon as Connor would be eligible to "unretire" he will do it and we'll see him on some other team. Just watch.

27. I hope everything is ok with him and wish him well. This is a game people, it's one thing to be passionate and another to be oblivious that football players are human beings with families. Having said that John Schneider should be on the hot seat. It is not hard to put the blame on him after the series of off season flops we have had. In my opinion our scouting department needs an overhaul or John has to change philosophies instead of just incorporating his ways from the old Green Bay years. Time have changed John.
