[Bleacher Report] Every NHL Franchise’s Mount Rushmore of Forwards Since 1990 (Devils: Elias, Hughes, Holik, Zajac)

From the Devils section:

“Patrik Eliáš spent his entire 20-season NHL career with the New Jersey Devils. He's their all-time leader with 408 goals, 617 points, and 1,025 points. Elias also helped them win the Stanley Cup in 1999-2000 and 2002-03. He captained the Devils in 2006-07 and 2007-08.

Jack Hughes is in his sixth season with the Devils. He's their best offensive player, setting the single-season points record (99) in 2022-23 leading them to a franchise-best 112-point performance. At 23, the young center's best seasons remain ahead of him.

Bobby Holik joined the Devils in 1992-93 and spent 11 seasons with them as a rugged two-way center, helping them win the Stanley Cup in 1994-95 and 1999-2000. He's tied for third in goals with Travis Zajac (202), 10th in games played (786) and assists (270) and seventh in points with 472.

Travis Zajac spent 15 seasons with the Devils except for 13 regular-season games with the New York Islanders late in the 2020-21 season. The two-way center is third all-time with 550 points, fourth with 1,024 games played, tied for third with Bobby Holik with 202 goals and fifth with 348 assists.”

  1. Holik? Really? Really? Over Brylin, the only forward who was on all three cup teams and spent his entire career with the team? Holik, the same player who saw $8m across the Hudson and jumped ship to the Rangers?

  2. Devils Mount Rushmore should be Ken Daneyko making 4 different facial expressions.

    Happy Daneyko

    Angry Daneyko

    Pensive Daneyko

    Confused Daneyko
