Met Millsy and Garly last night! Best day of my fucking life

  1. So here’s the full story:

    Premiere Autographs had Miller/Garland autograph sessions lined up for yesterday at the Langley Events Centre, and as an early birthday gift (it’s tomorrow) I decided to treat myself to tickets. I ended up buying a regular (photos/pucks etc) and premium (sticks/jerseys etc) Garly ticket ($30 and $50) and a regular Miller ticket ($70), which cost me $164 including tax.

    Now onto the actual day of the event;

    It took me around 45 min to get there, as I don’t live anywhere near Langley, but I arrived at around 2:30pm. Miller came out at 2:45pm and stayed until 3:30pm. Watching him from the line, I noticed that he was hella locked in and in the zone, so I decided to scratch the idea of asking him any questions/saying anything. All I said to him was “thank you” and he replied with “you’re welcome”. Garly started at around 4:45pm and went until 5:30pm, I was so nervous that my palms were sweaty lmao. For the majority of the autograph session, I was watching him sign items from the side while taking photos and videos. I never got in the line until the last possible moment, because I wanted to ask a couple of questions to him and didn’t want the people behind me to have to wait so every time a new person joined the line I told them “go ahead”. When it was *finally* my turn, it took me a few seconds to realize as I was still trying to think of what I wanted to say to him, but I ended up speaking to him, told him my name and that it was sick to meet him, shook his *right* hand 🥵🤤 (I’m never washing my hands again), and after he finished autographing my jersey and photo I asked him if I could ask him a few questions. He said “absolutely, but make it quick” and that’s where I fumbled badly. I asked him to wish me a happy birthday for a video, and my dumbass didn’t ask the other three because I didn’t want to take up too much of his time, and nervous as hell too (I mean who wouldn’t around a guy like him 😩😩🤤😍). I regret it somewhat, I had some really interesting questions lined up, but what a fucking guy. Super nice, meeting him surpassed my expectations by a mile. And here I am a day later, and I still can’t wipe the smile off of my face.

  2. Went there today to see about getting my Dank Sedin jersey signed. $250 was the cost just for the premium signing. I left without an auto. While it was enquiring on pricing, an older fella (60’s?) was asking about cost for 2 hockey cards – one from each brother – and left after hearing the “twin double special” price of $350
