  1. This is par for the course for Taiwanese baseball. Half the people go there for the girls. Lots of these girls are Instagram famous

  2. See, Asian culture still knows how to attract an audience. American culture still runs out fat ass ball boys.

  3. Living in Taiwan now. Last year when my daughter turned seven we brought her to a baseball game. She did not understand the rules, but she thoroughly enjoyed herself because of the cheerleaders. She couldnโ€™t take her eyes off them and was dancing along throughout the game. Itโ€™s special to dance with hundreds of people with joy.

This summer I brought her to a Dodger game in Los Angeles. She was very disappointed to discover that there were no cheerleaders, nor any sing along/dance element in the game (except for *Take Me Out to The Ball Game*). She was at one point simply bored sitting at the seat.

I understand young girls serving as cheerleaders would get criticized. But I think a festive atmosphere, with audience joining the singing and dancing could enhance the stadium experience. It certainly drew my daughterโ€™s interests into baseball.
