Owen Pickering is the Pens best overall player on the night, per Gamescore. Like I said in my last post about it: Gamescore is far from perfect. But I think this checks out with what we saw on ice tonight and hope he can keep it up!

We missed him tonight in WBS. Great night for him though!
I’ve seen enough, throw Grzelcyk in the trash.
Is ponomarev having a rough time transitioning? Saw him on the worst team of the week by stats on the main sub.

Crosby was a monster tonight. He normally is. But I feel like he was even better than normal
A surprisingly strong rookie debut would be so, so nice.
Can’t wait for Sully to scratch him when Letang is healthy
So damn happy for him. Shot him a text after the game. Can’t wait for him to have NHL cards that I can track down and collect!
